Chapter 11 Waterfall

    You stepped into the cavern you met with Sans in two days earlier. The two younger monsters were still there, along with the lonely blue echo flower. You looked at the stand where Sans was, but he wasn't there today. You sighed. You had left a note at the skeleton's house, but you wondered if anyone had seen it. You walked up to one of the kids and asked what he was doing.
    "Yo, did you come out here to watch her too? I'm here to watch Undyne beat up some bad guys! Come on!" He ran into the next corridor, but fell on his way there. You were about to help him, but he quickly got up and kept running. You sighed and followed him.
    But who was this Undyne? The monster kid had said she was going to beat up bad guys, but what does that mean? Humans? Other monsters?
    You suddenly felt your soul appear on your chest. Oh boy.

    After a few monster fights, you came across an area of large plants. You tried to push past them, and they rustled when you touched them. Suddenly you heard the clanking of metal. You immediately stopped in your tracks and looked up. There was a heavily armored person standing above you, looking through the plants for something. There was a green-blue glowing spear in their hand. 'That must be Undyne...' You thought. She looked menacing. The spear dissapeared, and you assumed that it was magic. She stepped out of view, and you weren't sure if she was gone or not. You took a few steps, and when no spears were flung at you, you sighed in relief. You moved swiftly through the bushes to safety.
    You took a few steps out of the bushes, and heard quick footsteps behind you. You turned around to see the monster kid run out of the bushes. He spun around in a circle, saw you, and ran over to you.
    "YO! Did you see the way she was looking at you? That.... WAS AWESOME!!! I'm SOOOOO jealous!!" He yelled out. He ran to the next corridor, but fell over. He picked himself up and kept running. You laughed quietly.
    'Awesome? That was scary.' You thought. You continued to the next room.

    After another encounter with Undyne, some puzzles, and a lot more running then you were used to, you came to a large bridge. You stepped on the bridge cautiously. It was completely wooden, and extremely sturdy. You began to walk on it when...
    You saw a blue spot on the ground.
    'Oh boy.' You thought.
    More blue spots appeared around you, and you stood still.  Multiple spears came up from the ground where the spots were. You looked over the side of the bridge to see Undyne on a lower bridge. You started running along, taking many twists and turns in the bridge. She followed closely behind you as you ran along. You tried to avoid as many spears as possible, but still got hit a few times.
    You came to a large clear area on the bridge and you could no longer see Undyne. You thought you were safe, but realized more spears were being thrown at you. You kept running until you came to a narrow path. You ran along it, and noticed no spears were being thrown at you. You turned around, but you couldn't see much. You turned back to the front and almost lost your balance. There was no bridge left, and instead there was a large hole going straight down. You turned around, but didn't see anyone. You took a few steps away from the edge, but stopped.
    You heard the same metal footsteps from earlier, and saw Undyne standing in front of you. She didn't speak. You stood there frozen solid, until you heard spears appear. You looked up, and saw three spears fall down right in front of you.
    Your eyes widened. The bridge shook slightly, and you tried to get back to the other area. As quickly as you ran, the bridge fell down. You kept falling and falling, and you didn't feel yourself hit the ground.
