You guys I wanted to try having everyone's perspective in this chapter, I'm not sure if it'll work out or if you'll like it but here you guys go anyways. Oh and I didn't reread sooo lol sorry...Jasmine Abigail Laundan.
"He didn't show, he stood me up." She cried in my arms. I couldn't help but to think it was my fault. She told me this wouldn't have went the way I thought but I didn't listen.
"It's ok, listen," I said picking her head up. "listen to me Kaelynn."
She wiped her tears and sniffed. "Get yourself together, I know it hurts but you shouldn't let him do this to you." I pointed to her face. "And who knows something probably went wrong. He probably didn't do it intentionally. Ka-"
"He would've texted me! He would've sent me a text and said he wasn't going to make it and he would've rescheduled. He's a bìtch!" She screamed and once again broke down.
"Shut up! So what he stood you the fuck up, shit hurts but you gotta 5 year old that looks up to you, you want her to be like this?" I screamed back.
I know it probably wasn't the best circumstances but she was acting real pathetic right now. I know had that been me, I would've made sure I paid him a little visit before I returned home.
"Huh!?"
She shook her head no. "Then do better, I wouldn't recommend revenge...well I would." I laughed causing her to crack a smile.
"But in your shoes, I'm not sure what happened between you two but you need to show him you not that bitch from back in the day, and if he was the bitch show him you ain't fucking with no grown ass bitch."
"It's so hard. He put me through so much and I was so young and I fed into his bs and revenge and and."
"You know what you sound like?" I chuckled. "A baby. You remember when Demi was on that punishment and she tried to explain herself?"
She sucked her teeth hitting me in the process. We laughed. "Do better Kay. Now we're about to go inside, watch this damn frozen movie until I learn every word in each and every song."
Kaelynn and I got up, we went inside and she went for her room while I went for the couch. Just say it, I could be a love Doctor. Fix every woman's problem.
"Nenen." Demi's little voice cried. Awe man you too.
I pulled her on my lap. "What's wrong smoochums?"
"Is mommy mad at me?" She sniffed rubbing her eyes in habit. "Why would she be mad princess?"
"Because I made grandma stop talking to her."
Oh lord almighty. Is this a sign? You want me to be a therapist don't you? All you gotta do is say it.
"Demise I'm gonna tell you something your mom should've told you long time ago. Your the queen of a hidden village called Atlanta. Your identity was supposed to be kept a secret, but when your mom made some bad decisions she had to take you from your castle and start a new life. She knew Katherine, that's your grandma, was going to be oh so angry with her." I stopped to see if she was paying attention, she was wide eyed and all.
