My director said that we all had to translate our lines into modern English, so here goes nothing:
Shakespeare: Four days will quickly steep themselves in night;
Four nights will quickly dream away the time;
And the moon, like to a silver bow
New-bent in heaven, shall behold the night
Of our solemnities.
Me: Bah, four days and four nights will pass quickly, and then, when the moon is crescent, that will be the night that we get married.
Shakespeare: Indeed he hath played his prolong like a child on a recorder; a sound, but not in government.
Me: He stuttered a lot when giving us the prolong, and he always repeated himself.The words just didn't flow.
Shakespeare: This is the silliest stuff that ever I heard.
Me: This stuff is totally wac!
Shakespeare: Beshrew my heart, but I pity the man.
Me: I know I'm a chump, but poor dude.
Shakespeare: Thisbe will find him by starlight. Here she comes; and her passion ends the play.
Me: Oh, surely Thisbe will find him by starlight, and then the play will be over.
A/N: God ye good den.
