Addiction is ugly and sad, no matter the form. Drug addiction, with "happy little pills", "dust angels" , and"snowflake kisses": it's ugly. The words sound beautiful, but there's nothing beautiful in being a slave to chemicals. Stop glorifying it: you're adding to the problem.
Alcohol addiction, sex addiction, addiction to pain or toxic people: none of these things are beautiful. None of these things should be romanticized in your television or your music or your poetry: it's hell to be addicted to something you think is heaven.
