Yoandri's POV:
She's mine. She is finally mine. Well kind of, I still have to talk to her dad but she's still finally mine.
I haven't been this happy in so long. My previous relationship ended up really nasty. I was heartbroken for so long, but I'm finally happy again.
I turned on the TV and started scrolling through the channels. It was almsot midnight so absolutely nothing was on. I left the TV on a random channel and went on my phone and started watching Tori Kelly videos.
I looked up and saw a commercial advertising a singing competition to be in the next huge boy band. I turned up the volume to get the information. I decided to search it up and see what it was all about. It turns out that Simon Cowell paired up with univsion to create a Latin boy band. This is my chance to make it big. This is my chance to live my dreams.
Should I sign up for it? No, I probably won't win. I'm just going to get my dreams crushed.
Next day...
I guess I had fallen asleep without realizing it. I walked down to the kitchen and saw my mom making breakfast. I love my mom so much. I decided to tell her about La Banda, that was the name of the singing show, and get her opinion. "Mijo go for it. You know we will support you in everything. Yo creo en ti Yoandri, no tienes nada que perder."
It's decided. I will sign up for the show. I went onto the Univision website and started filling out the application.
My dreams may finally come true.
