Bowling

One month later

Yoandri's POV:

I woke up and just stayed in bed reflecting on life. It has truly been one of the best months in my life ever. I just thought about how happy I've been and looking forward to what's coming next.

I decided it was time to get out of bed because it was already 12:00pm and do my weekend homework. I opened up my laptop and checked my email first. I was scrolling through all the emails and I saw it had received one from La Banda. I was too nervous to open it, so I went downstairs so my mom could do it. "Mom I got an email from la banda!! I'm too nervous to open it you do it for me." I gave her my laptop and she opened it. She read it and then looked up at me with a giant smile and said, "You got the audition!!!" I am now one step closer to accomplishing my dreams.

I was going to the first round of auditions in two weeks, woah. I only had two weeks to perfect a song. I knew what song I was going to sing, Back to Black. It's one of my favorite songs, I know it by heart, and it totally fits my style. I decided to practice instead of doing hw because well I could do that later. I just wanted to spend any free time practicing.

I felt my phone buzz, it was a message from soph.

S: Hey babe,hang out later?😁
Me: of course princess 😙
S: great, let's go bowling!
Me: you know I suck.
S: That's why I want to go 😂
Me: fine 😒

I was debating if I should tell Sophia that I'm auditioning for this show. I mean I probably should, but im going to wait to see if I actually make it or not before I tell her. I don't want anyone to know yet other than my immediate family.

I practiced untill it was 4:30 because we were going bowling at six. I showered got ready and went to Sophia's house to pick her up. The bowling alley was literally five minutes away so we decided to walk their and not bug our parents for a ride. Damn, I need to get a car, but I should probably learn how to drive first.

We got there and some of our friends were there. Great, they are going to see me bowl and make fun of me. We walked to them and decided to make it a group hang out instead. We were having so much fun, even though they were bullying me so much because of how amazing of a bowler I am.

Our friend Julie would defend me when they made fun of me and didn't stop talking to me throughout the night. I found it a little weird, but I didn't think much of it. Julie was Soph's other bestfriend.

Sophia came up to me and said she was going to leave because she wasn't feeling well, but she looked perfectly fine. I told I would leave with with her and stay with her, but she said no and told me to stay. I think Sophia was bit upset because I was with Julie more than I was with her.
