Yoandri's POV:
To my surprise, everyone in her family were guys, except for her mom. I knew they were going to be over protective of her since she was the only girl so I was now extremely nervous. She first introduced me to her only other friend that was there, "Yoyo this is my bestfriend Blanca. Blanca this Yoandri my boyfriend."
I stuck out my hand and said, "hi it's nice to meet you. Why have i never seen you around school." She responded," It's nice to finally meet you too. Sophia is always talking about you." Sophia gave her friend a death glare. "You don't see me there because I go to another school."
"Y'all can talk later, but im going to keep introducing him to everyone. Common yoyo let's go introduce you to my cousins."
"Yoandri these are my cousins Anthony and Daniel. Cousins this is my best friend Yoandri." I was hurt when she called me her friend. I know that I have to talk to her dad first, but did she have to say friend. They both looked at me said hi, looked back at her and sarcadtically said "sure he's your friend." I talked with them for a bit and they were really cool. We got along really great! Next was her brother, I introduced myself, "Hi I'm Yoandri. " He responded, "what's up dude, I'm alex. It's nice to meet you." Sophia left us alone for while she went to help her mom out. We instantly clicked and I was no longer nervous to be in front of her family.
Sophia came back out and walked to where the microphone was at. I was ready to here her sing again but to my surprise she said, " I would like to invite Yoandri up here to sing. Trust me y'all he has a voice of an angel." I smiled when I heard her say that and I went to where she was at. I wasn't prepared to sing, but I need as much practice as I can get if I want to make it into La Banda.
I chose to sing Contigo en la Distanci(video above). Once I finished, everyone was clapping and cheering for me. It was of of the best feelings in the world. I got off and walked to Sophia, "You were amazing babe." People started to leave so it was now time to talk to her dad...
