Yoandri's POV:

The day of my audition was finally here. Auditions were being held at the Blue Dolphin Studios and doors opened at 8:00am. I didn't want to wait in line for hours so I made sure I was planning on getting there early. It is currently 5:00 in the morning and I am getting ready. I hate walking up this early, especially on a weekend, but it is what it is. I decided on wearing a black T-shirt with my favorite denim jacket and some khakis. I walked downstairs and my breakfast was already made. I ate quickly and then my mom took me. It was now 5:30am.

I got a text from Julie wishing me good luck. In these past two weeks, Julie has become one my best friends. I trusted her, and told her I was auditioning for la banda. She was the only person outside of my family that knew.

I made it to Blue Dolphin Studios and there was already a couple of people there. I waited in line for half an hour and it was finally my turn.

I was so nervous. Knowing that my future was either going to come true or not right now filled me with anxiety. I introduced myself, they took my picture, and I began to sing my heart out.

I finished my song and I was told I would be contacted in a couple of weeks to see if I made it. I lost a bit of hope, because they didn't seem that interested in me.

I was still happy though. I was proud of myself for taking a chance and believing in myself for once.
