Kidnapped Love

Chapter 8

                                                                                *A Few Minutes Later*
I left the hiding spot when the guns stopped shooting & I heard a bunch of cars squeal away. As I stepped out the first thing that I saw was Nic laying on the bedroom floor bleeding out of his arm.
"NIC!" I shouted rushing over to him
"Aspen... I need you to do something for me." He said slowly
"Anything..." I replied on the verge of tears.
"Stop freaking out & go get the first aid kit Trevor has in here." He stated laughing a little. I nodded & ran to the bathroom, grabbing the first aid kit that was in the cabinet above the toilet. I walked out of the bathroom & saw Nic taking his shirt off, I stiffened, but calmed down when I realized that he was just taking it off so I could take care of his wound better. He turned around & I walked up to him & sat next to him, I grabbed the peroxide & gauze.
After Nic was fixed up, he got up & told me to stay in the room, instead of listening I followed a little ways behind him & saw that he went into Trevor's' office. I leaned against the door to get a better listen.
"What the hell are we gonna do?" I heard Lexi ask
"I don't know..." Zach stated sounding frustrated
"Guys, we have to call Luke. Trevor would want that.. He is second in command." Nic said
"No he isn't..." Lexi said
"She can't be in charge! She has no clue what to do! We have to find Trevor now or when we do find him he won't be alive... We can't waste time training her..." Nic stated
"Trevor said that she was his second in command & if anything ever happened to him, she would become the head leader." Lexi stated raising her voice
"We don't have the fucking time to train her! We don't even know she will want to do that in the first place!" I heard Nic say. I got off the floor & opened the door to the office.. Everyone's eyes automatically went to me.
"I am ready. If it means finding the guy I love, then I'm ready. I'll do it. Lexi can train me in a week, while ya'll figure out where Trevor is. I'll be ready by the time ya'll figure out where he is." I stated. The guys nodded & Lexi grabbed my hand taking me to the lower basement, once we got there, she looked at me & told me to start punching the punching bag in the corner of the room. I listened & started punching.. Who knew me out of everyone in the world; I would be the leader of the most wanted gang trying to find the guy I realized that I love...
