Kidnapped Love

Chapter 10

          "What are you doing?!" I asked
"I'm gonna take care of this prick before we go home, so he won't bother us anymore." He replied turning around & taking the knife he had in his hand to Trevor's' neck.
"DAD STOP!" I shouted
"Why should I? He took you from me & your fiancé!" he stated
"Alec was not my fiancé! I never agreed to marry him; he was just my best friend!" I stated taking a step closer to him
"I don't give a fuck what you wanted Aspen, I was doing what was best for you!"
"& killing the person I love is whats best for me?" I questioned
"Please! How can you love this prick!" he questioned laughing, I rolled my eyes & looked up a little to see that Sam was above my dad & Trevor & was about to cut the rope holding the light that was above them.
"Because I do! How the hell did I ever love a prick like you!" I retorted
"I gave you everything you ever needed or wanted you little brat!" He said removing the knife from Trevor's' neck & coming up.
"NOW SAM!" I shouted & Sam cut the rope having the light come down on my dads' head & hitting Trevor a little. Nic & Lexi went to hold my dad down, while I ran up to Trevor & cut him out of the ropes that were keeping him in the chair. He fell forward when he did have the hopes holding him back to the chair. I put my arms out before he hit the floor & slowly laid him on the floor; I got up & walked over to where my dad was.
"Wanna explain why you did this?" I asked kneeling next to him
"I don't owe you any explanation" He stated
"I think you do, well that is before you die." I replied pulling my gun out & putting it to his forehead.
"You don't have the guts." He chuckled
"Try me" I said about to pull the trigger
"Fine! I did it because you were meant to marry & fall in love with Alec." he said
"That isn't a good enough reason in my book, you're a pathetic dad. What father forces his only daughter to marry someone she doesn't love!" I shouted in his face.
"Don't disrespect me! I'm still your father!"
"You stopped being my father when mom died." I said just as I pulled the trigger. I ignored the looks I got from everyone & put my gun back where it was & went over to help Trevor in the car. Lexi drove home this time, while I stayed in the back comforting Trevor.

                                                                                              *At Home*
When we got home, the guys took Trevor upstairs. I ignored everyone else trying to talk to me about killing someone, especially my dad, & I followed Nic & Zach upstairs. They put Trevor on the bed & walked out when I walked in. I sighed & went to the bathroom to get the first aid kit. I walked out & noticed that Trevor was asleep; I smiled & took off his shirt & pants & started cleaning up his cuts & bullet holes. Once I finished he was still asleep, I smiled again because he looked a lot better & kissed his cheek & then went to change. After I changed, I decided to go get me something to drink & Trevor some medicine & water for when he wakes up. When I got downstairs, Lexi, Nic, & Zach were changed & the only ones in the house. I'm assuming everyone else went back to their homes.
"Aspen we need to talk..." I heard Lexi say following me into the kitchen
"No we don't."
"Yes we do! What you did tonight was uncalled for!" Nic stated
"No it wasn't, you have no clue what he did."
"He hurt Trevor! We know that, but even if Trevor was able to comprehend what was happening at that moment he wouldn't have wanted you to kill your father!" Zach said
"That wasn't the only reason I killed him tonight..." I replied looking down at the medicine & the two glasses of water, I grabbed them & walked back upstairs. When I got upstairs, I put Trevor's' medicine & water on his side of the bed & went to my side, took a sip of my water & put it on the table next to my side. I climbed into bed & kissed Trevor's' cheek & then fell into a dreamless sleep...
