Kidnapped Love

Chapter 14

                                                                                      *A Few Months Later*
It's been two months since the gang & I have started searching for Aspen. We haven't found anything yet, but every time we think we get close we lose her. I decided to go for a walk to clear my head, while I left the guys to continue to look for her.
"I'll be back guys. I'm gonna go for a walk." I told them, but none of them really listened to me anymore since I told them that I wanted to find Aspen. I sighed & grabbed my coat as I walked out the front door.
I was walking around a park, when I heard a giggle. I looked up to see a girl pushing her daughter on the swing set a few feet away from me. I sighed & went to sit on the bench near the swing set, I pulled out a picture of Aspen & I that Lexi took when we weren't paying attention. She was so beautiful... Why did I screw up...? Sam died ten years before I even laid eyes on Aspen... As I was thinking I felt the other side of the bench get kind of heavy. I looked up, only to meet with a pair of two beautiful deep dark brown eyes that I swear I've seen & looked into before. The girl looked up at me & her smile disappeared right away... No way...
"Come on Adelaide! We gotta go sweetheart." I heard her yell to the toddler.
"Aspen..." I whispered
"Mommy! Who is he?" her little girl asked
"No one baby girl... Let's go baby girl." She stated picking her up & grabbing the baby bag she brought with her. I followed her to her car & once she put Adelaide in the car, I walked up to her.
"Aspen, please give me a chance!" I said as she closed the car door after buckling Adelaide in.
"No Trevor! I don't want anything to do with your pathetic butt! I don't need to be involved in that life again!" she stated quietly
"Who's the father..?"
"That's none of your business Trevor," She commented walking to the driver's side of her car, "Just leave us alone & stay out of our life!" she whispered yelled as she got into the car. I looked at Adelaide & for some reason I felt the need to know her & be involved in her life.. Aspen drove off & I ran back to the house.
"LEXI!" I shouted running through the door.
"What!" she yelled back annoyed.
"Aspen... was she acting weird when before she left the house..?" I asked worried
"No..." Lexi hesitated
"You hesitated, Lexi you were her best friend in this house... Was she pregnant when she left this house...?" I asked scared to hear the answer.
"So what if she was Trevor! It's not like you would've cared! You forgot her & didn't care about her anymore!" she replied
"So what?! So what?! That is my child! I don't freakin care if I forgot Aspen! It was not my choice to forget her, but for you to keep the fact I have a child out there is screwed up!" I shouted at her. She looked at me confused...
"How did you even find out you had a kid with Aspen?"
"I went to the park, saw Aspen & my daughter & the last time I looked at my daughter I just felt like I should be involved in her life & that is when I ran home & you told me that the girl I love was pregnant when she left the house!" I replied.
"You saw Aspen!" she shouted, which caused all the guys to come running into the living room.
"YOU SAW ASPEN!" They bellowed simultaneously.
"YES! God! I saw Aspen & I saw my daughter!" I shouted annoyed of repeating myself
"DAUGHTER!" the guys shrieked. I rolled my eyes & walked back out of the house to see if I could find out where they lived or something... I am not just gonna give up on Aspen like that... & I sure as hell ain't letting my daughter grow up without me in her life.
