When The Lies Brush Past My Lips(My Fake Boyfriend: Book 2)

Part 9

Elijah's POV-

Mom's slowly getting better. She had surgery and now all we're here for is to make sure it was a success and that she is recovering correctly. So far she has been recovering fine and they say we should be able to leave in a few weeks. The twins call almost everyday saying they miss us so much.

Luke has been by my side ever since he got here. Cursing Sienna's name for the past weeks, which yeah I'm mad at her and think she is the complete opposite of who I thought she was but that doesn't mean I loath her.

Luke still cares about her but I think he doesn't know how to really feel about the situation other than mad. My mom has been scolding us about our cold behavior for Sienna, but she doesn't know what we know. I didn't want to tell her before because she loved Sienna like a daughter, but now that we're going back soon I should tell her.

"Elijah Honey, have you heard from the boys yet today?" My mom asked as I walked through the door of her room.  I shook my head and sank into the seat next to her bed.

"Mom. I have something I need to tell you. Its about Sienna" I watched as her eyebrows rose in concern. "Well you know how Luke and I haven't been on good terms with her?"

"Yes dear. Did something happen to her? Is she okay?" She asked in a panic. "I knew she wasn't okay when she said she was leaving. I just hoped for her going to her dads or something. How didn't I ever see the signs?" She said quickly as she through the covers off herself and began to stand.

"Wow wow. I don't know what your going on about but I'm pretty sure she's okay compared to you. Now what I had to tell you deals with when Luke came here."

"Okay what happened?"

"Well It turns out Sienna never cared about me. She only wanted attention. She told Luke she was in love with another guy and was just using us." I stated quickly.

"No. That cant be true, Sienna is the sweetest girl I have ever met. She wouldn't do that to you."

"But she did mom"

"Did she tell you this? Did she look you in the eye and tell you this load of bull?" My mother asked as she stared at me with a scary look on her face.

"No" I stated.

"Hasn't anyone told you that girls lie to protect themselves and then on the rare occasion they lie to protect the other person." She stated  as she looked down at her hands.

"So hurting me by telling Luke that she loves somebody else is better?"

"Maybe, maybe not. Nobody will know for sure unless you find out the truth" She stated as she laid back in her bed, leaving me to ponder all the possibilities. I sighed in irritation as I rubbed my temples
