Imagine your OTP are best friends. Everyone they know wants them to be together (bonus points if they're famous people and their fans want them to be together, too.) They insist that they're just friends, and there's nothing going on between them. They always hugs for ages, talk about each other for hours very fondly, and look at each other with love when the other isn't looking.
One night, there's a big party at Person A's home, and everyone leaves, leaving Person A and B alone. When someone from the party (maybe the third wheel?) forgets their phone, they sneak back in to get it, only to find A and B completely naked, having sex.
