"Here you can get something to eat for the night. Then we'll show you to your rooms. You'll be together, we figured you would all feel more comfortable that way." The man called. Soon he stood before a door and smiled towards the kids.

"Thank you, for everything." Thomas was the only one to speak up.

"Don't thank me. Not until we get you kids fully out of this mess." He smiled pushing his let card into the slot. The door immediately glided open. One by one they all filed inside, Theresa and Rose bringing up the back. As soon as it got to the two girls though, the man cut them off by shutting the door.

"Im sorry, I should have told you two ahead of time. We have some female testings that we need to run. Its down the hall and in the other room. We didn't want to bring it upon you two in front of your friends."

"What kind of testing?" Theresa asked clearly as bothered as Rose.

"The embryonic cells in your bodies. We need to make sure they weren't damaged by the Scortch. The radiation given off by the sun could have mutated them declining your health."

Both Rose and Theresa looked to one another, a questioning look on their faces. "We promise it will be quick." He concluded. "A fast x ray. We won't have the results until tomorrow morning anyway. So we can get you back to your friends quickly."

"Okay." Theresa agreed instantly earning a glare from Rosanne.

"Thank you." He smiled and immediately they were being led down a Hall side by side.

Rose was not comfortable with the situation at all. Whatever was about to happen, she didn't like the feeling she had.

Rounding the first corner to their left was a long glass window leading into the room the boys were in. There were a lot of kids in their, all about the same age. Thomas, Newt, and the others were talking to the man, clearly with concern. Suddenly his hand motioned towards the window and Newt instantly locked eyes with Rose. The other boys stared and Thomas Rose his voice, his neck straining noticeably.

Soon enough as they were led faster and faster away Rose's stare broke with Newt's and they were completely out of sight. "It'll be okay.
" Theresa called back to her gripping Rose's arm.

Instantly Rose stared at her. "You remember me don't you?" Theresa just smiled and nodded. Rose's eyes however shifted. "Then you know I have a right to be concerned."

Theresa's expression fell as they were led to the end of the hall. Suddenly it all changed. Two hands clasped both of their shoulders. Rose was being dragged one way and Theresa another. "Rose!" She screamed.

Instantly her heart picked up. "Hold on!" Winding back Rose clocked her elbow into the face of the man holding her. Then, dashing forward she grabbed the arm of the next guard slamming it against her knee breaking it. Using what leverage she had Ross swung her legs up and around the neck of the next oncoming man. With a few tests and turns of her body he was sent flying into the man with a now broken arm.

As soon as she landed she could feel the familiar burning sensation flowing through her body. No...no hold it in. For gods sake hold it in.

"Rose!" Theresa's voice echoed through her mind. Within seconds Rose was busting through the guards around her. She was able to grip Theresa's hand, the two holding on for dear life.

Suddenly though, they were ripped away from one another. Both lifted off the ground. Rose yelled for her friend as a rag was brought to Theresa's mouth. Quickly she faded in the man's arms.

A different method was used for Rose though. A sharp pain was sent into her chest. Looking down she could see a green vile clouding her vision. Soon the entire world around her began to go back. Every noise slowed, every sound turned to a ringing. For the moment she threw away the Glader language. Fucking syringes.
