I waited outside for Chan to make up his mind, for some reason I always at the loss  of words when ever try to speak to him. What's up with me, he's probably too intimidating.

Okay, maybe it was weird I was hiding behind trees looking at Chan and his friends. I was going to stop hiding until a snowball went past me and hit Chan, haha, no way am I coming out now.

"Hyung- ow!" Chan wiped the snow off his shirt as he stared in my direction, at first I thought he was looking at me but then a high pitched giggle came from behind me.

"Chan! Hi!~" the girl that I saw at lunch was now walking towards him, earning a grin from Minghao. He pushed Chan toward and smiled giving him a thumbs up, Chan frowned.

"Uh, did you throw that at me?" He asked pointing to a snowball behind her back, her smile grew and nodded.

"Yup, it's kind of the only way I can get your attention!" She dropped the snowball and moved closer to him, I couldn't help but to cringe. Ew,

She whispered something in his ear which made his face red as a tomato, I still kept my eyes locked on Chan. I was still behind the tree when he made eye contact with me, his eyes grew wider as he saw me.

He got so alarmed when Rei wrapped her hands around his neck,

'Please help me'

That's what his eyes were telling me, now her face was leaning in. I started running forgetting that his friends were there,

"Adolescent child!" I yelled even though I was one myself, pushing Rei, at first I was tempted to help her up, then she looked at me with fire in her eyes. She got up, it looked like she was about to slap me when Chan grabbed my hand and started running.

The both of us was blushing as we ran towards the exit,

"W-Where do you live?" He huffed, there is no way this boy is going to walk me home, or well in this case, run me home.

"Let g-go! I can take care of myself," I stuttered trying to wiggled my hand free,

"I know, but, um I want to work on the project." He looked behind me as he smiled in relief.

I pointed to my house as we walked together in silence, when we were at the door I was frantically searching for my keys. That's when the door opened and Mingyu's expression hardened when he saw Chan,

"Kim Hae-won, why is he here?" He pointed to Chan obvious not caring if Chan could hear him,

"We have to work on a project," I mumbled, Mingyu nodded and stepped aside still keeping an eye on Chan.

"Oh, follow me." I told chan as we climbing, I couldn't help to notice how much he was blushing. Maybe still flustered by the fact he almost got a kiss by a girl, I opened my bedroom door as I realized I forgot to clean my room.

Books were scattered around my room, and a pile of laundry was in the corner.

"Nice place you got here," he said looking around, Chan sat down on the floor and got out a notebook filled with random drawings, probably from his friends.

"Okay let's get started," I sat down I front of him not even making eye contact with him once.

It seemed like an hour until Chan said something unrelated to the project,

"I'm sorry," he sighed as he wrote down notes, I looked at him and tilted my head slightly.

"For almost getting slapped from a girl?" I asked as tried to focus on the project, but I kept staring at him,

"No, for hurting you. I wish I-I never done that" He mumbled, as he stopped writing and stared at me and did that dorky smile of his,

"Can you, ah, forgive me?" He asked still smiling,

"Well, it might take some time, but I can try." We kept staring at each other until I heard a voice,

"Hae! Tell him to leave, it's getting late!" Mingyu yelled on the other side of my door.

Chan got packed up and went downstairs, before he left he told me something.

"You should smile more, you look..cute." He said 'cute' really quickly as he ran down the sidewalk laughing and throwing fist bumps.
