I looked down at the weird mush on the plate that the camp volunteers handed me,

"Uh, thanks." I forced a smile at the lady before sitting down with my cabin members,

"This looks very.. Appetizing," Chan said as he poked the grey goop with his fork, Rei nodded in agreement as Hansol carefully hid his plate under the table.

"It's mashed potatoes," Hansol told us as he brought up his plate from under the table which was now clean,

"Potatoes aren't suppose to have hair!" Rei shrieked as she picked up a strand of hair with her fork, Hansol  snickered at her reaction.

"What are we going to do with this?" I asked pointing to the mash potatoes, Chan's face lit up as if he was waiting for me to say that.

"You have two options, you can eat it, or throw it away." Chan said in English as he did little actions to go along with it, Hansol bursted into laughter as Rei looked at him all dreamy. Which lead me to make a disgusted face,

"That was alright," I said as I took Chan's advice and got up and threw it away. When I came back Rei was gone which only left Hansol and Chan sitting together,

"Now repeat after me, dAMN SON" Hansol said as Chan nodded eagerly,

"damn son." Chan replied as Hansol gave him a thumbs up, I looked at Hansol who only did a playful grin before facing Chan again.

"Aye yo bitch," Hansol whispered as one of the volunteers past our table.

"Aye yo bitch!" Chan said with enthusiasm as the volunteer turned around to find out who did it, but instead gave up moments later.

"Hansol what are you doing?" I asked him before he shrugged in response,

"Okay now say, what's up slut!" Hansol told Chan as Rei was making her way back to the table,

"What's up slut." Chan said before asking,

"What does that mean?" Chan asked slightly confused,

"It means hi friend!" Hansol lied before giving me a wink, I shook my head in disbelief. Sure I don't know a lot of swear words, but I was positive that was one.

As Rei sat down Chan turned to her and smiled,

"What's up slut?" He asked before Rei looked at him in horror before Hansol's facial expression turned into panic,

"He meant to say.. Hi girlfriend!" Hansol added quickly before Chan looked at him with puppy eyes,

"I did not!" He pouted as Rei let out a sigh of relief, Chan quickly glanced over to me and shook his head. As if he were trying to tell me that they weren't dating, I nodded as he faced Rei.

"I don't like you.."  Chan told Rei as the dining hall became silent, how could they even hear Chan above the noise?

"W-What?!" Rei's eyes started to get watery as everyone made 'o' sounds,

"I-I uh, mean I don't like you the way you like me!" Chan added quickly hoping he wouldn't seem like a jerk,

"Is it because of her?" Rei asked pointing to me as the crowd gasped, Chan looked at me with a smile before mouthing something.I didn't know exactly what he said, but all I knew was he had a plan, I nodded before he faced Rei with a confident smile.

"Yes! It's because of Hae-won!" Chan hesitated as Rei was in a state of shock,

"Ever since I met her I've fallen for her!" Chan stated earning an 'awe' from the audience, even some of the volunteers began to watch.

"But she might not even like you!" Rei said desperately making eye contact with me, even though she looked heartbroken her eyes were filled with hate.

"Oh, but she does! Isn't that right Hae?" Chan said side stepping away so everyone could get a better view of me, there was an awkward moment of silence before I understood they were waiting for me to say thing.

"T-That's Right! I not only like him, but his smile." I stuttered as Chan gave me a small thumbs up.

«at the cabin»

"Hey Chan did you really mean it?"

"Eh?"

"What you said back at the dining hall."

"Pftt! Not really, it was only a way to get Rei to stop bothering me."

"Oh okay,"

"Yeah.."

And that's how you confess without your crush even knowing you did.
