(Paige Anderson)
Hi I'm Paige Anderson and we're gonna start this story off a little differently. Instead of jumping into a scene I'm gonna tell you about myself instead of telling you random shit throughout the book... Okay?
I'm 18 and a senior at Sea view high school of Palm Springs California. I live with my parents and little brother who annoys the life out of me and little sister who I love more then anything, not as much as I love iced tea though.
My parents have real good jobs, my dad is a doctor and works quite a lot but tries his best to be home for us and my mom is a head chef in a top restaurant here in Palm Springs. You'd think she would be working a lot but honestly not as much as you would think.
It's good because if my mom gives us food poisoning my dad can make us better again, even though she never has because then I guess she wouldn't be a very good head chef now would she?
Anyway...
At school I'm the most popular girl I mean I am head cheerleader so of course it just works!
My bestfriend Lucy has been in my life for 14 years and is also a cheerleader, we basically rule the school. Don't get me wrong we aren't mega bitches but defiantly can be if provoked. Don't start thinking I'm some queen bitch who bullies nerds because that's just nasty but if someone pisses me off they'll know about it.
Like Reece Carter, gosh I fucking hate him. He's the football captain and for some strange reason all the girls find him unbelievably attractive? Freaks.
Anyway I guess that's all you need to know for now so let's jump straight into the scene! What? I told you this story is a little different from usual but whatever you'll get over it.
"Okay girlies one more time! Remember legs right up higher then your heads, Jessica I said higher not the same level!" I shout to the squad as we practise our new routine.
There's a football game this Friday so us girls thought we would try something new with a lot more high kicks, jumps and spins. So far it's going great except one girl Susie who is annoying me so bad I kinda want to kick her out of the squad.
Like seriously kicking your leg above your head isn't hard girl!
Oh my gosh I'm gonna loose my shit, I feel like screaming higher in her face or snapping her leg so it goes higher. "Susie seriously if your finding it so difficult do a little jump and then kick." I sigh planting my hand on my head.
Is she mentally stable?!
"Okay girlies it's 4.30 practice is over! Susie a word please." I shout turning my attention quickly to Jessica.
I may seem like a bossy bitch right now but I'm the cheer captain so I have to make sure all the girls are perfect and if not then we're gonna look like idiots on the field.
Judge me bitches!
"Hey Paige I'm really sorry my leg is totally sore I think that's why I can't get it as high as usual please don't kick me of the squad I can do it and by fr-" Susie starts rambling on until I cut her off put holding my finger up to her face, she's giving me a fucking headache!!
"Susie go home, relax your leg use some ice and then tomorrow after school do nothing but practise the leg kicks okay? We only have 4 days until the game this needs to be perfect... Oh and stop with the rambling!" I sigh patting her shoulder gentle and walking past her leaving her nodding like an idiot.
