We all went out for a big dinner and in America that means BIG portions.
Their was enough to feed a small African colony and all we asked for was a round of sandwiches!!
At the get-together the six of us made our plans for the holiday.
We had allowed Jacqui/Jessica and Tess/Taylor to make their own plans up until the evening of the party but our schedule was as follows
Day 2 Bus Tour of Las Vegas..
I managed to find out about tours which were being run hourly and this one in particular would run along the promenade of the Las Vegas nightlife, Red Rock Canyon Park, head out to Henderson, Mountain Springs and conservation parks. A day of complete relaxation exploring the more exciting parts that Vegas had to offer.
Day 3 Debi's Birthday
As a special arrangement for the birthday of my beloved, I wanted to remember the occasion by taking her to visit one of the prestigious photography caverns which displayed pictures of most of the leading glamour models and also featured photo shoots of weddings and other activities. Elvis Presley has a gigantic presence in Vegas and most of the shops and tourist places are themed around him, so this would be a day for Debi to enjoy. The Elvis Appreciation Society was based here too including a proper diner serving his favourite burgers.I had a lot planned for her special day which includes the help of the 4 girls, more to be revealed!!!
Day 4 Rest Day
Day 5 Grand Canyon
The other girls wanted to visit The Grand Canyon and had arranged a plane charter to get there, so we could all spend some time together.
Day 6 One day to go until we would be heading home and we put this time aside to take a trip to Carson City and Reno. In Carson City the biggest LGBT festival in the whole of the United States of America was taking place, dress theme was "All Pink". And in Reno, their was another relaxation day planned.
Day 7 Goodbye Las Vegas
Heading Home.......Boo Hoo!!!
