The night was young and although the cold was closing in, the atmosphere buzzed. I could've stayed out and relished in the moment all night. Sam took my hand as I rushed to get my front door open. It was soft and plush, my hand fitted perfectly in his, it wrapped around mine like a protective lion. We giggled consistently, bouncing off each other until, my door gave in resulting in us stumbling into the large hallway, all lights were off except the lamp in the corner and the kitchen light seeping through from the crack under the door to our far right. His face was barely lit but just enough to highlight his soft features and chizzled jaw line. I bit my lip before shushing him while trying to suppress my own laughter. As we tiptoed over to the kitchen door Sam smoothly moved his hand from mine to both of them placing on the tops of my hips, I was startled but he made me feel relaxed soon after, we waddled in the comfort of one another's warmth. My hand clasped the brass door handle to the kitchen, with Sams hands still around my waste I pushed the door open avoiding and creaks and poked my head round.
My eyes skimmed the kitchen, I furrowed my brows when suddenly a hand popped up from the floor waving around frantically. Sam's hands turned into arms, I found that he'd wrapped himself completely around me now, from the other side of the door he was not seen. The hand from the floor caught my attention so my eyes followed it down to a body and three rabbits. My twin sister's body of course.

I smiled widely "hi" I whispered clinging onto the door

I smiled widely "hi" I whispered clinging onto the door. She looked up and Sam buried his head into me. Pumpkin, one of the small males, had toddled up to me and stood on his back legs to rest his front paws on my legs. I peered down and sucked my top lip in, I then went down to pick him up letting him jump higher up my shoulder to meet Sam's face.

Sam's nose met pumpkins and they twitched together, it was so cute. I took pumpkin off my shoulder and softly pressed him into sam's arms.
I walked further into the kitchen and the two followed. "Who's this little fella?" Sam said to me without looking up from the rabbit. He hadn't noticed the others on the floor. Poppy sat up dozily. I strolled over to the kitchen counter and rested against it.
"That is pumpkin" emphasising on the 'that'. I then hesitated and spun my direction to the others, "that ones indigo, and that slightly bigger one is their mum; Nala" I slid my hands into my pockets, Sam's head quickly shot up from pumpkin and gazed at the rabbits. He then found his eyes upon Poppy. She hadn't looked at him, I guessed she was off her head.
"Wait so you have three rabbits and what a twin?"
He smirked confusingly, I couldn't figure why he was pointing out the obvious. I ran my finger off the marble surface "Five rabbits. The other two will probably be upstairs." His confusion grew, it was adorable. He inhaled, "who are the other two?" To which I then answered " Friday, their father and bear. She's the youngest." I smiled again and he nodded waving his finger about. "Got it" he bit his lip and then grinned like a child in a candy shop. "What?" I mocked slightly. "Can't you see it?" He stepped in closer. "See what?" My eyes intensely locked on his. Sam's arms stretched out as if he were asking a question and then flopped down to his sides "It's like Wonderland" I laughed and tilted my head back. Poppy stood up and moved to towards Sam who was still close to the door frame, she mumbled "Sometimes I'm Alice but sometimes in Tweedle-Dee" she then shuffled on past him, she was still a mess. I rolled my eyes. He furrowed his brows and laughed. Shaking my head, I walk closer to him until our toes touched. They say a guys feet point towards what he wants. I shut my eyes tight and peered down, in hopes that they were pointing in my direction. I then smiled satisfyingly as I looked him up cautiously.
