I had to be forced to walk over to his grave. It sucked. I didn't belong here. Most likely half the school was here. People he didn't know, people who hated him, people who only knew his name, and many more like that. It disgusted me. They shouldn't be here. They shouldn't be mourning his death. They didn't know him at all, yet here they were. They tried to cry, to show remorse, but I knew better that. I knew they didn't care.
One in particular was probably happy, John Fowle, he would finally get his chance in the spotlight. I knew the only reason John was here was people who think he cared which is simply bull. He didn't care and as sick as it sounds I knew he was happy, joyful, he would most likely throw a party in celebration. Repulsive. He would finally get his shot as quarterback but he never should.
Jared deserved more than this. He deserved more than fake tears and fake sympathy. His parents deserved more than that. Sarah, his girlfriend, of course stood in the front row, balling. What a pathetic loser, I mean of course she had reason to be upset but it's not like she actually loved him. I loved him, she didn't. She just wanted his fame and publicity. She deserved to be in that casket not him. Of course, we would be expected to give sympathy to her in school but like in hell would I give it to her.
This town is too far involved in Jared's life. He could carry a bag of groceries and it would make the front page. If you think I'm lying, I'm not. Jared is our town star. Jared this. Jared that. Jared. Jared. Jared. It gets to the point where people need to get their own lives. Ha. That'd be the day where grass turns blue.
