"Miss. Sunshine, you don't understand! I need to see Z!!" Jessica yelled. "You are not leaving this classroom. Now take a seat, Jessica." Miss. Sunshine said, but you could tell she was trying to keep her cool, unsuccessfully. Jessica looked at her in disgust, unmoving. "Jessica. Now." Miss. Sunshine said, through her teeth. Jessica still wouldn't move an inch from that spot. It was almost as if she was rooted there. "Jessica Mathers." Miss. Sunshine yelled ."Go to hell." Jessica spat, as she walked out the room whipping her hair dramatically in the process.

Jessica went up and down the halls looking for me. I knew she was smart enough to figure out where I would, eventually. "Z? Z! Please Z, just answer me! Zaffina!" Jessica called. Finally she found me, crying again his locker. "Oh Z." She said. Jessica came over next to me on my right. Jessica just sat down, she didn't say anything, she just sat there. Which is good because at the moment I wouldn't have a clue what to say. I cried and cried for who know how long. She didn't try to stop me, so I just kept crying.

"You know, I'm going to have to take you home soon. Well, before lunch at least." She said. "Yeah, I know." I replied. After a couple of minutes I finally got up and started walking toward the door to the staircase to go downstairs to the office. Jessica walked slightly behind me in case I collapsed in agony. I didn't though. I had more dignity than that, well at least in public. We walked out the door to the parking lot without the teachers knowing we even left. Well, of course Miss. Sunshine did but she doesn't count.

I got into her blue car without a word. Jessica slid into the driver's seat and starting maneuvering through the parking lot. We pulled onto the highway and then we had to sit at a red light. "You know," Jessica started. "The pain isn't going to get better." I looked over at her with vacant eyes. "Wow. Hey thanks for lifting my spirits." I said. "Your welcome." Jessica said while looking over at me. When she realized I wasn't going to comment she continued. "Listen, I know you loved him, a lot ,but I'm not going to sugar coat it for you. He's dead." I winced at that word but she still continued. "Now don't get me wrong I'm going to help you through it every step of the way but you need to face that fact now or your life is going to truly suck."

I looked over at her and just got out of the car and started walking. We were close to my house anyway and I couldn't stand to be in the car with her anymore. I know she was just trying to help but when it comes to this kind of stuff Jessica is plain flat-out cut throat. I mean I love her to death but feelings are not her best, considering she doesn't have any.

I think Jessica trailed behind me in her cat but I didn't dare look back to see. It took about 10 minutes to walk to my house. My house is a medium sized house, painted white with green shutters. It's practically made out of windows. My front door is a dark red color and I walked up to it and opened the door and went inside. I walked straight up to my room. My room is quite large with blue walls and blue carpeting. It has posters all over it of celebrities and my bed has a black and blue polka dot comforter. I fall down on it and cry myself to sleep, or at least try to.
