Chapter 2-

Jake’s POV-

I awoke to a knock at my bedroom door. I roll over to look at my clock to see what time it was. 5:30 a.m. Why didn’t my alarm wake me up? You forgot to set your alarm dumbass my wolf growled irritably.

“Come in.” I called to the person at my door.

“Jake. You need to get up. Don’t want to be late for your second day of school.” Zach said.

“Thank you Zach.” I said rubbing the sleep out of my eyes. “Zach?”

“Jake?” He mocked with a smile.

“Zach... I found my mate... I think...” I confessed.

“That’s great!” He exclaimed before registering the rest of my words. “Wait, you think?”

“Yes. You see, my mate is a guy.”

“Well that’s great! You’ve been worried that you’re mate would be a girl.” Zach said smiling.

“Zach. My mate’s straight.” I said miserably

“Are you sure?” He asked gently.

“Zach he was making out with a girl right before I saw him.”

“Oh... What’s his name?” He asked me.

“I don’t know.”

“How do you not know your mates name?” Zach asked raising one brow.

“Well right after i realized who he was to me... I ran.” I said quietly.

“Wait was this during lunch?”

“Yes.”

“Your mate’s Devin!?” He asked surprised.

“So that’s his name.” I said with a smile. “I like it.”

“No Jake you don’t. Devin is the alpha of the pack that was wiped out several summers ago killing his parents.” Zach said.

“So he’s an alpha to, what’s wrong with that?”

“It’s just oh never mind.” Zach said as he headed to my door. “Go get dressed; we need to go to school.” With that he left.

I walk into school, Aiden by my side. Aiden’s like me, gay. Only his mate is Sam. Yeah you read right my third’s mate is my fourth.

“I wish school wasn’t so long.” Aiden was saying.

“Aiden, I don’t even know why you're going to school. You already graduated.” I said slightly frustrated.

“I’m here to help protect our alpha.”

“Awwwww shucks Aiden. You're making me blush.” I said with a cheeky grin.

“Haha. Yeah right Jake. Nothin’ makes you blush.”  

“True, true.” I said before we separated and went to our classes.
