CHAPTER FOUR

Jake’s POV-

Today I actually got up without Zach’s help. Yay me! I somehow managed to convince Aiden and Sam to stay with the pack today; I have a bad feeling that something’s going to happen today. They wouldn’t let me be there since I think that something bad is going to happen so they volunteered.

“Hey, Zach. How ‘ya holding up?” I ask as we head to class.

“I’m… I’m okay.” He told me. “She says that something very bad is going to happen very soon and there’s nothing that we can do to stop it.”

“Well she knows how to stay up- beat.” I said with a smile, only to meet his serious one.

I walk into my class when I hear Sam and Aiden calling to me through the mind link.

“JAKE!” they screamed.

“What?” I asked through the link.

“We’re being attacked by-“ Aiden was cut off.

“Aiden? Aiden? Sam what happened?”

“Aiden'sholding them off.”

“Who’s them?” I asked, getting severely worried.

”They’re the ones responsible for your mom’s death, Vampires.”

“Oh my god Sam I’m coming over there now.”

“No! None of you can come. The cubs and you must stay there until its safe. Tell the teachers and then the students.” Sam said in a voice that made me realize how much trouble we were in.

“Okay. Okay. Help your mate Sam. Help Aiden and all of the pack.” I instructed.

“You don’t have to tell me twice.” Sam said with a growl before cutting off the link.

I raised my hand.

“What is it Mr. Malloy?” my teacher asked me.

“Sir I need to talk to the principle.”

“How urgent is it?” he asked me sounding slightly bored.

“It’s a matter of life or death sir and you can ask Zach. I’m not exaggerating.” I said

“Okay. Go now and hurry back.”

“Thank you.”

I run through the halls to the principal’s office.

“Ma’am. The pack has been attacked, by Vampires. I need to get a notice out to the rest of my pack.” I pant, out of breath from running.

“Most of the school consists of werewolf’s am I correct?” The principle asked me after a few moments of thinking.

“Yes…?” I asked confused as to where she’s going with this.

“Then I think it’s time to call an all school assembly.” She said with a slight smile. Oh dear.

“Everybody be quiet and listen to Zach.” Our principle said through the microphone.

“Thank you, Mrs. Kassner.” Zach said through his own microphone. “Now for those of you who don’t know, most of us are werewolves and we live together in a pack. Before you all freak out, none of our pack can go back. Our pack is being attacked by vampires.”
