Gotta find Yang. Gotta find Yang. Gotta find Yang. "Yang? Yang!" Oh this is bad. This is really bad. What if I can't find her? What if someone else finds her first? Well, there's always Mari. She's nice, funny, mysterious. She doesn't seem much for fighting though. But she has that cool axe, but is she good with it? Oh! What about Blake? So mysterious, so calm. Plus she likes books! Well, then again, I probably wouldn't be able to hold a conversation with her. Okay, who else do I know in this school? There's Yang, Mari, Blake... And who else?

I bump into someone, hard. I look up and see Weiss. Okay, this is either going to turn out really good or really bad. I flash a smile at her. She walks away.

"Wait! Where are you going?" I yell. "We're supposed to be teammates," I mutter.

(Narrator's P.O.V)

Weiss pushed through some bushes, before finally getting to a clearing and brushing her crisp white clothes of some leaves. She looks up to see Pyrrha and Mari, and a beowolf. She slowly walks back into the woods, careful not to attract any more attention. Weiss grabs the collar of Ruby's shirt to drag her off away from the beast.

"By no means does this make us friends," Weiss said while dragging her.

"You came back!" Ruby said, punching the air in happiness.

Meanwhile, back in the clearing with Pyrrha and Mari, Flask was rolling around in a pile of fallen leaves. They were both giggling at the sight.

"Rose Quartz, huh. She must be really amazing to be able to tame these creatures."

"Yeah, she really saw the beauty in everything. She loved the ugly, the pretty, the poor, the rich. All of Earth's life, she adored." Mari said with a dreaming look on her face.

"That's amazing. I wish all people were like that."

"It would." Mari said. "Unfortunately, not all people are like Rose. We wouldn't have wars if we were all like her."

They walked toward the abandoned temple, which was now just appearing over the hill, and they started to jog toward it. They finally reach the temple and they find glowing gold chess pieces and dark black chess pieces. Mari soon went up to a gold rook piece and picked it up. She put the piece up to her neck and it vanished. Pyrrha was confused at the sight but decided not to question it.

Soon, Yang and Blake showed up at the temple, and they picked out a gold horse.

"How about a cute little pony?" Yang said in a childish voice.

"Sure," Blake said, sneaking a grin when no one was looking.

A yell was heard from at a distance, and Blake was looking up at the sky. She pointed to Ruby.

"Heads up!" Ruby yelled as she was falling from the sky.

"Oh my goodness!" Mari said, finally realizing that a human was falling from a tremendous height. Humans were tough, but not that tough. She had to do something.

"What do we do! What do we do! What do we do!" Yang said, pacing around repeating herself.

"I got this." Mari said.

Mari put an outstretched hand towards Ruby, condensing the air below her, causing her to slow down drastically. Ruby looked stunned as Mari pushed up from the ground and carried her in a bridal position, where they gracefully floated to the ground, Mari still holding Ruby. She put her down after they landed.

"H-h-how did you do that?" Ruby said quietly.

"Um..."

Suddenly, a giant Ursa came crashing through the trees, and a person was riding on the back of it. Nora, can be seen excitingly riding the Ursa as it falls to the ground, dead.
