I'd been looking forward to this day for weeks now... My Birthday! Usually, I didn't get all that excited over it, but I had Harry this year and that changed everything. Harry Styles; my amazing, thoughtful boyfriend had been planning this night out for a long time with my mum. Honestly, I had no idea what was going on when he came to my door, holding up a blindfold.
"Can I ask what that's for?" I thought it was completely bizarre and weird. I mean, who blindfolds their girlfriend for a date?
"For you, well, as soon as you get in the car I'll put it on you." He had sheepish grin on his face, but a mischievous glint in his eyes. What on earth did this boy have planned for me?
"You're not going to murder me are you?" Of course, I trusted and loved him, but seriously, the blindfold thing was freaking me out. And I really did have to ask that question, for the reason I felt I was going to step right into a horror movie. Well, I liked to over exaggerate at times.
Harry chuckled, "Yeah, sure Kay. You see that park right over there?" He pointed towards the grassy field that was barely a few minutes' walks from my house. "That's where I'm gunna be dumping your body when I'm finished." He raised his eyebrows as he spoke sarcastically. Rolling my eyes, I stepped outside closing the front door behind me.
"Wow, did you know you're absolutely not hilarious at all?" I smirked at him as he stuck his tongue out. Even when acting childish, Harry still looked adorable. He had slightly chubby cheeks, big turquoise eyes and a beautiful, pearly-white smile. God, he was so damn attractive that sometimes it frustrated me.
Opening the car door, Harry stood aside so I could get comfortably seated in the car seat. I turned my head to face the driver's side window so Harry could fasten the blindfold securely over my eyes.
"How many fingers am I holding up?" He had to be joking; I literally couldn't see a thing.
"Harry, the whole point in the blindfold is so I can't see anything... This means I have no idea how many fingers you're holding up. Although, I guess it's your middle one." Harry only laughed at my sarcasm before closing the car door. The next thing I hear is Harry entering the driver's side and belting up. Within a few seconds, a pair of smooth lips meets my own and initially I'm taken aback. Not being able to see when Harry is trying to take surprise kisses is extremely annoying. He can totally take advantage of me with this blindfold on, damn it. I should've never agreed to this. Bad move, Kay, very bad move.
On the journey to the unknown destination, I kept nagging Harry to tell me where we were going. Although, I knew he'd never tell me anything. He wouldn't even give me clues. The strange thing was that Harry never got angry at my nagging, he just laughed it off. If I was him, I probably would've killed me by now, I literally wouldn't stop going on.
"Kay, I promise you we're nearly there." The amusement could be heard in Harry's voice for miles off. He could be such a tease when he wanted to be.
Deciding to let the topic go, I slouched back in the seat and waited sort-of patiently for the ride to be over. My anticipation for this evening was beginning to give me an adrenaline rush and I became fidgety. Harry must have noticed and his hand rested on top of my thigh. No joke, my skin nearly set on fire when he unexpectedly touched it. The way that boy makes me feel, I swear, it's not normal!
Coming to an abrupt stop, Harry shut the engine down and I knew we had arrived. I couldn't stop the childish smile from appearing on my lips. Before I could even register what was going on, Harry was round at my side guiding me out of the car. Loud music flooded my ears, and I genuinely believed we were at a nightclub.
"You ready?" Harry whispered into my ear, he was so close to me and I couldn't help my heart racing. Nodding, Harry slowly removed the blindfold and it took a few seconds for my eyes to adjust. Neon fairy lights dangled around street lamps and trees, illuminating the whole fair ground in a disco glow. I gasped, I hadn't been to a fairground in ages, but I loved them so much. There were cute stalls set up everywhere and huge rides towered above the area. It brought back the times when I used to always come here with my dad as a youngster. We went on rides multiple times over until eventually dad could take it no longer and took me home.
