Lurking

I see the shadows across the wall

I know that night and what you saw

It wasn't what you think in your mind

It looks at you as a different kind

Stratching the walls for a great escape

Wondering if it deserves torture and rape

Don't hide the scars and tears away

Just realize it's burning inside

Remember the years it cried

Sitting in the corner of a dark room

Whiching for a greater doom

Death was the question set

But many people said not yet

It was young and small

It grew but only tall

People laughed and said she'd fall

Her tears came and everyday were raw

But only the dark and her saw

That it was me all along

Thinking I was just wrong

But no!

I know now I'm lurking

Opon the great earth for a way

A way to speak my words

I wish to scream and say

I'M FREE FROM YOU!
