Ice cold window broken glass

Little girl sits in the back of class

Teacher said she was dumb and deserved to die

Her mother told her don’t listen it’s just a lie

But that day there was no stopping the simple pain

Her school looked at her as if she was nothing but shame

Her older brother said life wasn’t a game

But two years later he died in the war

Burns and cuts turned just to a sore

Her mother cried tears of agony

Their family was just one big tragedy

The papers wrote again and again

Julie Rivers is just death and sin

Her mother tried to bury her head in her breast

All her mother did was cause more mess

She shed more and more blood until one day

Julie Rivers couldn’t go outside to play

The knock on the door there never was an answer

Five years later her mother died of cancer

Listen to the wind and you’ll hear her cry

I Julie Rivers must never say goodbye
