Above is the picture I imagined Jay to look like :)

I arrived at my locker as the warning bell rung. Crap!
I had to be in my seat in about sixty seconds or i'd be spending my lunch in detention. What a great start to my day! (Can you hear the sarcasm?) As I shoved my books into the locker, I felt weird. Not wierd..but...watched. "Hey, Jane." I freeze, recognizing the voice. I turn to see Jay, about five lockers down, showing a friendly smile.
"Oh, hi Jay!"

"What's up?"

"Oh you know, trying to not get tardy detention as usual." I laughed, sarcasticly.

"Oh that's nice, someone sounds happy!" He sarcasticly smirked back at me.

"Haha well I'll see you around, I need to get to class," I motioned to the empty hallway.

"Yeah, actually what are your plans for tonight? I'm playing ultimate frisbee with some friends. "

"That sounds fun, but I have basketball practice and lots of homework." I said, disappointedly.

"Okay, what about Friday around 6?"

"Yeah, I think I'm free. Can I bring a friend?"

"Yeah, that's cool! Well I'll see you around, Jane."

I smiled and turned, walking to Homeroom...two minutes late.

As I entered class, I was shot an "you are late, don't let it happen again" look from Mrs. Kast. I rolled my eyes as I sat in my assigned seat. Yeah, she was that type of teacher, with assingned seating. Once, a boy yawned in her class, and she sent him out of the classroom. Uptight and overdramatic, that lady is.

As Friday came around, I was convincing Sarah to come play ultimate frisbee with me. Which wasn't hard, because she said "heck yeah," and that was that.

I realized I didn't know where we were meeting for the game, and it didn't help not having his number.

As luck would have it, I ran into Jay again. At lunch. And I got his number!
