Unexpected - A Laurmau FanFic ON HOLD

1 - First Day

Before I start the story I'd like to say a few things. First I'd like to give huge credit to Aphmau for making amazing Minecraft Roleplays, especially the ones that this is based on. And if you haven't seen any of her roleplays yet I recommend that you watch them. And a second thing is that this is my first story, so it might not be that good and I apologise for any spelling mistakes. Anyway, on with the story.

Aphmau's dream/flashback

It was Tuesday night and I was on my way to Laurance's house for a sleepover. I grabbed my bag with a pair of clothes for tomorrow, a sleeping bag and some other stuff. I said goodbye to Katelyn and Kawaii~Chan, and walked out. When I was near to Laurance's house I looked up and I could see loads of smoke coming from somewhere near Laurance's house. I started to run, in fear that it was his house. When I turned round the corner I dropped to the floor and started crying. Laurance's house was half gone and the rest of it was on fire.

I ran up to the Medics and Firemen and started asking if there was any survivors, none of them could give me a straight up answer. I then overheard someone on the walkie-talkie saying that he couldn't find any live people only dead. Once again I fell to the ground, I was crying even more now. "I never got to tell him...how I felt..." I mumbled, tears streaming down my face. I heard footsteps behind me, I turned around quickly, in hope that it was Laurance, but it was Katelyn. I got up and ran to hug her. I stood there all night still crying my eyes out, in hope that Laurance was alive...

Third Person POV

The pink-haired girl jumps up from her bed, startled by the loud sobbing coming from the room next door. She runs through to the other room to see a her black-haired friend, Aphmau laying in her bed, asleep, with tears streaming down her face. The worried pink-haired girl runs over to her black-haired friend and starts to shake her.

"Aphmau~Senpaii, wake up Aphmau~Senpaii!" She cries.

The girl wakes up and looks at Kawaii~Chan, startled. She sits up and feels her face. She gasps when she realises that it's wet with tears, her tears. Kawaii~Chan sighs in relief and sits at the end of Aphmau's bed.

"Are you alright Aphmau~Senpaii?" Kawaii~Chan asks, worryingly.

Aphmau shakes her head and gulps. "I...had...that...dream about...Laurance again..."

"It's okay Aphmau~Senpaii, it was just a nightmare." Kawaii~Chan smiles.

"But it wasn't just a nightmare, it did happen!" Aphmau shouts, more tears staining her face.

Kawaii~Chan jumps a little from Aphmau's sudden outburst, but keeps a smile on her face. The two girls sit in silence for a couple of minutes, while Aphmau wipes away her tears. Kawaii~Chan then opens her arms out wide to offer a hug to Aphmau. Aphmau forces a smile and hugs Kawaii~Chan.

"Kawaii~Chan made breakfast so if Aphmau~Senpaii is hungry then it is in the kitchen. Oh...and remember that today is Aphmau~Senpaii's first day at Phoenix Drop High, so Aphmau~Senpaii better get ready soon." Kawaii~Chan says, getting up and walking out Aphmau's room, closing the door behind her.

Aphmau slides out of bed and walk over to her wardrobe. She opens it up and pulls out a long-sleeved white top with grey cuffs on each sleeve end, a grey color and a blue bow on the chest area. She then pulls out a grey plaid skirt, black shoes, and then she walks over to a chest of drawers and pulls out some underwear and white knee-high socks. She puts everything on and walk over to a plain white rimmed mirror. She grabs a stool and positions it in front of the mirror. She sits down and starts to brush her hair, trying her best to avoid her purple cat ears. When Aphmau's finished getting ready she heads downstairs to get breakfast. She walks into the kitchen, grabs a plate of pancakes and sits down on the couch in the living room. She picks up the TV remote and turns on the TV, then she starts to eat her pancakes. When she's finished eating she takes her plate and leaves it in the sink. She then runs upstairs to Pick up her school bag. When she gets her bag she runs back downstairs. Kawaii~Chan and Katelyn were already waiting at the front door, ready to go to school. The three girls head outside and Katelyn locks the door behind them. They all walk to school together. The blue-haired girl, Katelyn puts earphones in and listens to music whilst Kawaii~Chan tells Aphmau all about her school.

~Time skip to the school gates~

Aphmau's POV

"Wow, this school is massive." I say impressed.

"Kawaii~Chan knows, it took Kawaii~Chan forever to remember her way around school!" Says Kawaii~Chan excitedly.

"Great..." I mumble.

Katelyn puts her earphones in her pocket as we enter the school grounds through the gates. When we've walked a little more into the school grounds I see a group of girls. They start to run towards us and I hide behind Katelyn, unsure of who they are.

"Kawaii~Chan! Katelyn!" They all shout in unison.

"Is she your sister?!" Asks a girl with fire-like hair.

"Yes, She is! This is..." Kawaii~Chan starts to says but I interrupt her.

"I'm Aphmau. And Kawaii~Chan and I are just friends. We're just such great friends that we're basically sisters."

"Hi, I'm Cadenza." Says a girl with fire-like hair. "The girl with the red hair is Nichole, and the girl with the orange hair is Lucinda." Explains Cadenza.

"Hi!" They all shout in unison.

"Hi." I reply with a small wave and a smile.

All of the girls huddle with each other and I just stand near them. They start to gossip and I don't join in because I have a feeling that I'd have no idea who they're talking about. I sigh and look around the school grounds. I spot a group of boys staring at me and the other girls. One of the boys has blue hair, another has blond hair and looks an awful lot like Garroth, another has silvery-white hair and looks a little younger than the others, about my age. The last one was staring at me, he had light brown hair and looked a lot similar to Laurance. I feel myself grow weak as memories of Laurance flow through my head and I start to cry. I hear someone coming towards me from behind and look up to see Kawaii~Chan. She engulfs me in a hug and I sob into her chest. I hear the other girls coming over to me, they all crowd around and start asking me if I'm okay.

*Bell rings*

Sorry if this was a bit confusing. It is my first story after all. If you have any suggestions or characters for future chapters leave them in the comments. I'd love to add in other people's ideas, I'll obviously give you all the credit. Im not sure how often I'll upload probably once a week, sorry if that's not often but I don't have Internet at weekends and I have school during the week so...yeah.
