Waking Up To You

Willa woke to the sun in her eyes, despite the early hour. She turned and Philby sleeping peacefully beskide her. They were in an employee break room at Disney, they must of fallen asleep after monitoring Charlene and Finn's crossover. They were stretched out on the couch, her head was on his shoulder, their legs tangled.

She looked at Philby, he looked so calm, almost childlike. His chest was rising and falling in a steady rhythm, his face was soft and peaceful, clear of any of the stresses and struggles they had dealt with the previous night. She wanted to let him sleep for however long he needed, but she could tell it was already morning and they really needed to leave. She leaned in and kissed him softly on the lips.

"Whaaa.." He murmured, eyes blinking open.

"It's morning time, we need to leave." She whispered.

"Leave...?" Philby, still half asleep struggled to compute what she was
talking about. The only thing in his mind at the moment was that kiss.

"Besides, I figured I should do that sometime when your not comatose." She joked.

"Well, I think you could probably do it more often." Philby said sitting up, running a hand through his bright red hair.

Willa just giggled. She stood up.

"Come on, let's get out of here." She said reaching for his hand.

He took it and together they walked out into the pleasant morning sunshine. Willa smiled with contentment, the day was off to a good start.
