Chapter 2 - Old Friend and New House

After almost 4 hours of listening to my sister complaining to her boyfriend about work and drama we finally made it to NYC.

"Thank god we are finally here i was getting sick and tired of hearing you complain and was going to push you out of my damn car." I looked at her through the rear view mirror.

"Wow touchie. anyways drop us off in Time Square." Kara said pointing to the city in the distance. "Why can't you fly there? It's not that hard to." "Fine I will." Pulling over to the side of the road in front of a small blue house, Kara and Dick got out of the car and flew away.

"Thank Hera that their gone." I continued down the road to another house. It was a two story house, small, and a light grey color. I pulled in front of the house and walked up the pathway to the door.

"I haven't been here in years." I thought as I walked up to knock on the door.

*Knock Knock*

I stood at the door looking up at the blue sky and the door flung open. I looked down in shock and saw a face I hadn't seen in years.

"Oh my. Look how much you've grown and into such a beautiful girl. You look so much like you're mother did." Aunt Mae said as she opened the door to hug me. "It's great to see you too Aunt Mae."

Let me et Peter and the others to come down and help you with your luggage. PETER!" "Wait... others..." it sounded like a stampede of elephants were running down the stairs. Peter tripped and fell down and was almost stepped on by three other boys and one girl.

"Do you need help?" I said with my hand extended trying to hold in my laughter. Peter looked up to see me standing there and stood up quickly as if nothing had just happened. "H..hey Kella." he said as he hugged me. "Hey there Petey. Long time no see."

I turn to see four others staring at me. "Um... and you all are?" i said as i look at them with a confused expression on my face. "Oh right... This is Ava Ayala, Danny Rand, Luke Cage,and..." "I'm Sam. Sam Alexander." Sam said stepping in front of Peter.

"It's nice to meet you all." i said with a smile on my face. "Okay, boys why don't you help Kella in with her things and Ava show her to her room." Aunt Mae said butting in.

Ava and I went upstair to the small bedroom while the others went outside to grab my stuff. I walked into the bedroom and it looked as if nothing had changed. "So you and me will be sharing this room while the boys get the other bedroom and peters room, but i don't know how we will fit two beds in this room." Ava said with her arms crossed. "I might have an idea."

10 minutes later...

"Not a bad idea." Ava said as she looked at the beds. "Well it comes in handy when you're skilled in wood work and technology." We looked at the bunk beds and raced over to claim our bed. I got to the top bunk before Ava, but she wasn't going down without a fight for the bed. we both fell off the bed and onto the floor laughing.

We looked outside to see the boys admiring the car. "Wow this is such a nice car." peter said with his eyes wide open "It's a 1970 Dodge Challenger to be precise, Peter." Luke said as he lifted the suit case out of the trunk. "Quiet as a mouse, but strikes like a dragon." Danny tried to say spiritually looking at the engine underneath the hood. "Hey guys! You should sit inside of it. Its so comfy and its really high tech." Sam said sitting in the driver seat pretending to drive it.

Ava looks at me rolling my eyes "Lets go outside and see the boys." We walk out to the car and stood there as they sat inside touching the screen and pressing all the buttons. "Um.. What are you idiots doing?" I put my hand on the roof of the car looking through the open window. They all jumped up and looked over slowly to see Ava and me staring at them with angry looks on our faces.

"What are you doing? You were suppose to bring up my stuff a half hour ago." I glared at them. "Oh... um... got to go." they all said as they got out and ran inside with the luggage in their arms. Ava began to laugh at them running as fast as the could run into the house. "Let's get inside and get some sleep. We have school tomorrow."
