Chapter 3

*Miranda's POV*

"Miranda!"

I looked behind me to see Aleks running up to us. Sylvia rolled her eyes, but smiled. I smiled as I waited to Aleks to catch up.

"Hey, back so soon?" I said, teasing him a bit.

We started walking again, and he scratched the back of his head. "BatDanz sent me on a mission to get a picture of him... but I though I'd hang out with you for a little while first."

I blushed a deep red.

Sylvia smirked at him. "Well, there's a nice little Character-picture thing to the right. The big headed guys?" she said in her sarcastic voice.

Aleks laughed. It sounded like bells to me. Messed up bells, but whatever. "I don't believe we've met. I'm-"

"I know who you are," she said, shaking his hand. "I watch your videos, too. I'm Sylvia."

He smiled at her. "Nice to meet you."

I grinned at their friendliness towards each other. "So, uh, we were just heading to the gaming area. You in?"

Aleks shrugged. "Me and the guys were gonna go there later."

Sylvia raised her eyebrows. "Guys? You're with the other Creatures?"

Aleks nodded. "Only James and Dan."

Her eyes lit up at the name James. Is that the Creature she liked? Her rosy cheeks turned brighter when she blushed. "James is here?"

He nodded again. "Yup." One of the pockets in his 'belt' buzzed, and he pulled out his phone. "Speaking of the screamer..."

I giggled. "What does he want?"

"He wants me to meet them at the League booth," he replied. "He wants you guys there, too."

Sylvia looked like she was about to squeal. But she kept her cool. "We'll meet you there in a bit." I looked at her, a question lighting my gaze. Turning to me, she said, "We haven't gotten to look at the other booths yet."

I nodded. "Right."

Aleks looked back at me, his deep brown eyes warm and sparkling in the harsh light. "Meet ya there." He winked, and started to walk off.

"Wait!" He turned back to me. "Don't you want my real number?"

Aleks smirked, and walked back over. I pulled out the sharpie and wrote on his right arm, over the tattoo sleeve. When I finished, he looked back at me. His eyes were bright with an emotion I couldn't place, but just him looking at me like that almost made me faint.

"Ready to go to the League booth?" Sylvia asked me. We had already looked at all her favorite games, and mine. I nodded, and we walked to the booth.

I was shaking inside. I was going to officially meet James and Dan! And probably play League with them! With us dressed as Sona and Ashe, we were sure to win. Especially since we have a secret weapon. Hehehe...

When Sylvia and I reached the booth, Aleks greeted me with a hug. My face was burning up. But I hugged back with the same amount of passion he did.

Sylvia eyed me and Aleks, then when we parted, she looked at James and her eyes went wild. In a good way.

James looked at her, and smiled. But it was a flirty smile. "Hi," he said, walking towards her. Sylvia was shaking a bit, but forced a smile. "I'm James."

"H-Hi. I'm Sylvia." I giggled when her eyes bulged out of her head when James took her hand.

"Sylvia... that's a beautiful name." He then kissed her hand.
