*Miranda's POV*
I woke up next to Sylvia, who was still fast asleep. The sun shone brightly into our basement room. Blue curtains billowed from an AC underneath them, and I could hear faint yelling and laughing coming from upstairs. The guys must be recording. But I could hear very quiet giggling from in our room.
My hearing was a bit better than most people, so that's how I heard the faint whisper of laughter.
I tapped Sylvia's hand, but got no response. If the giggling wasn't hers...
Hearing it again, I immediately swung my head towards a little cubby between our T.V. and the staircase that was hidden by a small bookcase. A little iPhone 5 popped up, and a small click echoed in the room. After it disappeared, I growled. Then I got an idea. Smirking, I silently yet quickly crouch-ran across the floor, and hid in front of the bookcase. After a moment I heard a "What the fuck? Where'd she go?"
Popping up over the case, I whispered loudly, "Right here!"
The guy screamed, and I started to laugh hard when Sylvia woke up with a scream, as well as to see a scared and shocked Aleks looking at me. I was laughing so much I fell back and a book hit me on the nose.
"Ow..." I groaned.
"Serves you right for scaring me!" Aleks said, sitting up.
I couldn't help but laugh again. "Sorry, bub, but I wasn't the one taking pictures of sleeping girls."
Sylvia then screeched, "HE WAS TAKING PICTURES OF US?!?"
The Russian screamed, and ran around the room as Sylvia chased him. During the chaos I stole his phone. There were several pictures of us sleeping, as well as a few of me when I was awake. A few were zoomed in on me.
Aleks was then looking over my shoulder and pointed at a picture. "In that one you look like a just-awoken angel, looking at her surroundings. To me at least." he said, blushing.
I smiled, and looked more at the picture. He was right. The sunlight reflected off of my neon hair, creating a glow around me. Despite my dog pjs, I looked very graceful. It was odd for me to seem like that. Behind me there seemed to be wings, too... But I doubt it was real. Just the sun's light.
Sylvia had calmed down, and looked at my picture. "Very pretty. But who's that sleeping beauty down there?" She pointed to herself, which was a small snippet of her face in the bottom right.
I stuck out my tongue, and she smirked.
Glancing at the picture, I said, "So, why were you taking pics of us again?"
Aleks held up his hands in surrender. "The guys dared me to for Creature Talk, I swear!"
Sylvia's jaw twitched. "That's it..." She ran up the stairs to the office.
"No Sylvia! Wait!" I cried, running after her, with Aleks behind me.
"...Hey here they are! They're awake!" I heard Jordan say.
I joined them to see Sylvia grasping James's shirt in balled fists. Uh-oh...
"It was your idea, wasn't it?!" she yelled.
I looked at the camera next to me, and then them. She was right in view...
"I don't know what you mean!" James yelled back, but I could see a small smile.
"All because you're mad at me for not telling you everything you dared Aleks to take pictures of us?!"
Aleks held me by the waist, and I scooched closer to him.
"I don't know what you mean!"
After a moment Sylvia dropped her hands and ran outside into the garden.
"God dammit James..." I muttered.
"What did I do?" he said, smirking slightly.
Shaking my head, I replied, "You know, if you had been patient and didn't explode on her, you might be able to hear the second part of our story. We were gonna tell you, we really were, but not so soon. You should've just been patient..." With that I ran out after Sylvia, Aleks watching me, a hand reaching out to me.
Outside it was warm, with birds singing and flying around me, and bees buzzing on fresh flowers.
Heh, birds and bees...
No! No time for that!
Dew was sprinkled on tulips' and daffodils' petals, as well as other flowers.
I heard sniffling and and whimpers near the back of the garden, and rushed over to find Sylvia wiping her nose with her sleeve. Sitting down next to her, she immediately put her head on my shoulder.
"Why would would he do that...?" Sylvia whimpered.
Absentmindedly I stroked her hair. "How do you know it was him?"
"Who else would've done it? The other guys don't know that we sleep like that, right?" I nodded. "Right, and Aleks volunteered to do it, so who else?" She sniffed. "He would've showed it to the stream, I know it. I can imagine the chat box: 'YOU LIVE WITH LESBIANS?!' 'LUCKY BASTARDS!'"
I chuckled a bit, which made her smile. "I'm sorry, sweetie. Don't let this get between you two too much though. You guys are too close already to be done with," I said.
"Easy for you to say. You and Aleks are 'perf'," she said, with finger-quotations.
Smiling, I rested my chin on her head. "Not like you two."
We sat there for a minute together, but I sat up when I heard rustling. Turning behind me, I screamed when a bag was thrown over my head.
