Prologue

EXCERPTS FROM THE STORY:

"Ano yan?"

Kinabahan ako.  Ano kaya yung tinutukoy ni grandma?  Nahalata kaya niya?  I tried to remain calm and composed and proceeded with my acting.

"What?"

"Ano yang nasa ilalim ng kumot mo?"  Shit!  Bistado ako.

"Yung unan ko yan."  She gave me a calculating look.  Hindi siya naniniwala.

"Let me see that."

Tinangka niyang tanggalin yung kumot pero pinigilan ko siya.  Mas naging determinado lang siya kaya nakita niya rin ang itinatago ko.  Ibinalik ko agad yung kumot dito.

"Oh... I see what we got here.  You know what this means, right Yuan?"

"Grandma, let me explain."

"Whatever your reason is, it doesn't matter.  The fact that I saw her naked in your bed is already a proof."
