Jacob POV
She always gets in the way! No matter where I turn she's there just ready to mess everything up! Why is she so obsessed with wanting to know me? I'm nothing but dangerous and Ray already warned her and she is STILL persistent! I don't understand her why am I so intriguing to her! All I ask is for Ray to keep her away from me and he couldn't even do that?
As soon as Ray pushed me away from Cecelia and the crowd of people that was forming around us in the lunchroom, Ray busted out laughing because of my appearance, which was pissing me off because I didn't find nothing about this amusing.
"I'm glad you find this amusing," I said glaring at him.
He continued to laugh "Just a little". I got upset and charged towards him with my vampire speed but before I could reach him he moved out the way.
"A little slow today aren't we Jacob?" he said smirking. I rolled my eyes and sat down on a nearby bench. I wasn't in the mood for his stupid comments.
"Look, calm down its not even serious. You take things to the next level Jacob" Ray said and threw my messed glasses at me which I picked up broke in half and tossed it into the football field nearby.
"See!" he pointed to the direction I threw the broken glasses in "That's taking it to the next level! That was definitely unnecessary!"
I ignored his comment "You had one job Rayan... One job! And you couldn't do it." I said angrily
"I don't know if you noticed but your mate is persistent," he said
I got up angrily "she's not my mate Rayan stop saying that!" I refuse to believe she is... she just cant be my mate!
"According the Court of Vampires she is your mate Jacob. How many times do I and your parents have to explain this to you?"
My parents are the Head of the Court of Vampires...Let's just say the rule the Vampire World and makes all the rules. One of the most important rules is to not kill our own kind; we may be punished but not killed. I don't believe in that bull despite the fact that I am a vampire and I can't change the fact that I am I hate vampires. Weird right? I hate the vampires that harm innocent humans as in feed off of them like it's their only option for source of food. That's why I kill most of them without my parents figuring out it was me. All they know that there is Vampire on the loose killing other vampires... and they are NOT happy with the news. But now thanks to my Mom and Dad we have other alternatives for food. They also give out assigned mates for every one of the Vampires and its supposed to be the love of our immortal life but they choose Cecelia as mine! I don't believe that I can barely be around this girl! Not to mention that her blood is very unique and I'm very attracted to it but I wouldn't give in...never will I do that.
"Your attracted to her blood the most aren't you Jacob?" He questioned me. I didn't answer him. He doesn't need to know the truth. But, I'm pretty sure my silence confirmed it. "So that confirms that's your mate" he smirked.
"No. That just confirms that fact that I am a vampire." I replied.
He just looked at me with a straight face. "Fine don't believe the truth." I was now relieved he will now drop the topic. "You need to feed because your eyes are red as fuck. It's starting to creep me out."
"Are you offering?" I smirked. I do occasionally drink vampire blood buts its not at all satisfying.
"Oh ha-ha very funny Jacob." He said sarcastically, "We both know you will not kill me even if you wanted too"
"And why is that?" I asked
"Because whether or not you want to admit it you need a friend" he said. I didn't say anything because I don't know if it was true or not.
"Hey Ce." I heard Ray say and I turned to the door that was leading out of the lunchroom and saw her walking out.
Oh Great...
