(sorry about the late upload, I was sick and distracted, I'll try and stay true From now on)

I started doodling in the notes section of an English book, The schools library had Two doors that opened inward and both were blocked by bulky tables. Multiple windows looked in from the walls, but we had already blocked those with the rows of heavy bookshelves. The group wanted us to look for Mitch, but Sara, the girl that let us in, wouldn't have it. I sat their drawing and taking notes, waiting for the sound to come. Then it did.

Grumble, Urrr, Grumble

Sara's, who had been sitting next to me at one of the only tables not used to block an exit, stomach started to growl. The library had no food, and I was willing to wait for this moment, but then I made my move. "the cafeteria isn't too far, Let me and Toby go out and get it" i said. she looked at me skeptically, "you're just looking for an excuse to look for that friend of yours" she said. I Shrugged, "So what, one more survivor means more food we can carry back, and if you don't let us go now, you'll end up having to go alone, starving, with even more of them out their then there are now" i said, "Mitch might already be dead. but damn, i'm going to find out, but we also need food and shelter, and so far, you meet one of those requirements, Please, let us meet the other" I said. Toby and the others had gotten closer to me now, they now understood what i was doing and watched carefully as i tried to talk our way out of here. "Fine, but get us as much as you can carry, or so help me, i will kick you out faster then you can say 'ow, that zombie bit me'" she said. I nodded.

The obvious two people to go on this journey were Toby and Casey, But Casey was instrumental in the survival of this group for a long period of time, and risking him this early could mean certain death. The others had their ups and downs, but I decided to go with Toby because I wasn't going to risk anyone's lives, and Toby, i knew, could be quiet.
