Chapter 17:

It was finally the day, I was getting ready as I wore my wedding dress that my parents bought for me and kinda gifted me. I heard a door knock as all the girls ran to the door, "I want to talk to her... private!" I heard Tao's voice but they didn't let him in. I didn't want to make a big deal so I got up and turned around, "Let him in..." I said angrily as they all went out and Tao came in, "Anneyeong..." he said seriously, "Anneyeong!" I greeted back as I turned around to the dressing table, "I wanted to..." he said as he walked to me, I raised my head and looked at him, "I just wanted to see you..." he said as he smiled forcefully. "You're..." he stopped again, "You're looking nice..." he said as he turned back, he turned to me again. "Ummm..." I raised my head again, he pointed at my hand, I looked curiously at my hand, "What?" I asked, "Is it hurting?" he asked, as I uncovered my wrist and saw it, "Oh... it's fine..." I said as I tried to smile. He came to me as I picked up the brush and was about to brush my hair and he held my elbow being careful about my wrist, "Aight~ your hair aren't straight today..." he said as he took the brush from my hand and place it on the table and made me turn to him, and held my arm, "Whatever you do... don't ever do that again... or I'll..." he said raising his hand laughing as I suddenly shook and my eyes went wide open as I clapped my hand to my mouth and laughed, "Tao~" I said as I hit him on his shoulder, "Well show it to me..." he said trying to hold my wrist directly as I hissed and tried to escape, as he laughed. "Okay~ got to go!" he said as he turned back and went out. All the girls came in immediately, "What did he say?" they asked me as I shook my head. My parents came in with Tao's parents and congratulated me, "Now come down quickly!" my mum said as our fathers and Tao's mother went down. She took me out as I saw him standing hopeless on the stage, I wanted to cry but couldn't cry in front of everyone, and soon I was standing in front of Tao. The priest spoke as we nodded and answered in a low voice, "Now you shall kiss your bride!" the priest said as I got nervous and Tao and I looked at each other. He quickly looked away and swallowed his saliva and stepped a little forward, I could fell his hands shivering when he held me, and a tear fell from my eyes and I closed my eyes. And then I felt his lips on my forehead and he immediately got away, I opened my eyes and took a long breath as I heard cheers from everywhere. I saw him and his eyes grabbed my attention as they looked wet, his father came and hugged him as he smiled forcefully and then my mom hugged me and I smiled too. We met other people and then it was soon time for us to leave, my parents saw me off in tears and we wished each other farewell.

Tao's parents went to our new apartment as his mother came in the room with me and Tao sat with his father outside, "Are you happy?" his mother asked as I nodded and smiled, "Does that even matter now?" I thought. She arranged some things in the room and greeted me and went out as Tao's Father came in and greeted me. He opened a box and placed it in front of me, "This is from me and you mother in law!" he said as he patted my cheek and went out. I heard Tao greeting his parents; I got up and went to dressing table to remove my jewelry. I was removing my ear rings when he entered and looked at me, he didn't say anything and went to change his dress. I opened my suit case and took out the clothes to change, he came out but he had not changed yet, "Come here!" he said grabbing his tablet as I went to him, "What are you going to do now?" I asked as he put his arm around my shoulder and raised his tablet in front of us, "Smile!" he said as I smiled and he took a snap. He went to the dressing room again and changed his dress, he came out and I went to change mine. I came out as he laid on the bed staring at the roof, I laid on the bed with him and we both laid with our backs at each other. I closed my eyes when he called me, I turned around as he got up and took out a small case from the side drawer, "This is for you..." he said as he opened it and there was an elegant ring inside it. I smiled at him, "Thanks!" I said. There was a long silence and then we looked at each other and then laid again with our backs at each other...
