Hate U, Love U

Chapter 26:

It was now time for Yuri and Tao to get married, it was a grand function. Meo was a little confused and kept asking me strange questions, I was answering her every question in quite satisfactory way. On one side it was Meo's strange question while on the other side other people asked me even stranger questions. It was getting too difficult and suffocating for me to handle all this. I was waiting for this function to end soon; finally it was time for Tao and Yuri. They were standing facing each other and they were looking very happy, they were made for each other. I felt like a vacuum created around me, I couldn't feel anything around me. I came back to my senses when Meo shook my hand and other people clapped, many people came to me and congratulated me in a strange way, Tao and Yuri were also busy getting congratulated by everyone. After I was done, me and Meo went to them on the stage and congratulated them, I hugged Yuri and Tao picked Meo and kissed her.

We came back home and I had prepared the room for them. From now I was supposed to sleep in the other room and Meo slept with me, I cried for the whole night. I had prepared each and everything for them myself; I decided that I won't interfere in their lives. I got up and grabbed a page and a pen from the drawer and instructed Meo that when she wakes up in the morning she was supposed to give this page to Tao...

***TAO POV***

Yuri and I slept late at night; we woke up when our door knocked. Yuri opened the door and Meo hugged her and greeted her, she picked her and came back on the bed. Meo did the same with me and then put her arms around my neck and whispered in my ear, "Umma told me to give you a page!" she said as I smiled, "Chincha! Give it to me!" I said stretching my hand at her. "It is in my room!" she said as she jumped down and held my hand. I smiled and Yuri smiled as well, "Where's umma?" I asked her. "She's sleeping!" she said innocently and dragged me into her room. Yui was sleeping; Meo took out a page and gave it to me, I opened it...

"Dear Tao..." it said as I looked at Yui who was sleeping soundly with her arm on her eyes, she was never that polite to me, well I read on...

I know you hate me but I started loving you when we were in Taiwan and it was your birthday..."

I narrowed my eyes as I got confused,

"The way you gave your time to Meo and I never made me feel that you don't love us too! Every time I wanted to confess I lost all my confidence because I was afraid of your reaction, and the day when I wanted to tell you that you're mine, you told me that you loved somebody else. I don't want to be a hurdle, so... I'm leaving forever, cuz I don't have enough courage to share you or to see you with someone else. Take good care of my Meo and Yui! And be happy yourself... saranghaeyo~ don't try waking me up... I won't... and if you think I was a good friend then don't let my sacrifice go to waste... bye~

There were tear drop impressions on the page, I sat beside her. I was afraid, what if what I was thinking was true, I stretched my shivering hand and shook her, "Yui..." I whispered. "Yui?" I called her again. She didn't move, I felt her body, it was cold. I held her hand and found something in it; she had a bottle of sleeping pills that fell on the ground when I moved her hand, "Yui... Yui wake up! Please don't go away!" I screamed and Yuri came running into the room, I sat on the bed and raised Yui and hugged her tight and cried as I yelled, "Yui wake up please don't play with me! We need you... Meo needs you she's too young! I need you, you can't go like this! Please come back~" I yelled as Yuri ran to me and put her hand on my shoulder, "Tao what happened?" she asked worriedly. I handed her the page I just read. She read it and clapped her hand to her mouth, "What happened to umma?" Meo asked innocently holding Yuri's hand. She sat down and hugged her. I could hear her crying, I released Yui and brushed the hairs of her face and set my lips on her and closed my eyes as tears rolled down my face, I hugged her again, "Just once... if only once you said that you loved me I would have given you more than I had! I would have given my all to you... I would have never hated you! In fact... I never hated you~ Come back for once, give me the last chance Yui please come back..." I cried as Yuri put her hands on my shoulders, "Tao..." she said as I released her and got up. I wasn't in my senses... ***END OF TAO POV***
