Chapter 20

I woke up when Tao switched on the T.V, I rose up and sat rubbing my eyes, "Tao~ turn it off! I wanna sleep!" I said irritated. He shook his head, "I was waiting for so long for you to wake up! Enough sleeping! Now I'm watching T.V!" he said as I looked at him angrily and got up. I went to the bathroom and got fresh; I came out and went to the kitchen to make something, "Did you eat something?" I asked as I remembered that there wasn't anything prepared, "Ne~ I made instant noodles for myself!" he said as I got a little embarrassed, "I'm so sorry~ I get hell tired after..." I spoke as he interrupted, "I know!" he said. I was feeling as if he was angry at me because he didn't really give attention to what I said and kept watching the T.V. "Tao?" I called him, I didn't notice that he came in, "Tao?" I called again as I turned around and crushed into him. "Ne?" he said holding me, I couldn't say anything for a moment. "Uhhh... are you angry at me?" I asked getting away. He raised his eyebrows and shook his head, "Why did you thought that?" he asked, "Nothing... I thought you were..." I said as he laughed, "No... I just got a little irritated cuz there was no one with whom I could talk and you were sleeping too!" he said as I laughed too, "Yea right like you always enjoy my company!" I said as I gave him a merong, "Aniya~ but fights with you are quite interesting!" he said as he winked. I giggled and he went out to watch the T.V. I prepared dinner for both of us and then set the dishes on the table; we ate the dinner as we kept joking about each other and our parents. "You don't feel bad about me being like this with you right?" he suddenly asked a strange question, "Like what?" I asked. "Like... we are married but I still don't have feelings for you... like... as a girl you would have expected your husband to love you right...?" he asked, I didn't know what he was thinking, "No... in fact I don't have feelings for you as well so no complaints and about husband so literally I never wanted anyone to love me... I was never interested in anyone... as you know..." I said as he smiled and ate the dinner, "But still... if you feel the need of anything just tell me..." he said winking, "...Otherwise I'm always there if you need me!" he said. I smiled at him and started eating again, I picked the dishes after we were done. I was washing the dishes while Tao was laying on the bed with his laptop. I kept washing dishes as I heard his wrist watches alarm, I went out quickly to greet him but he was already asleep. I went towards the cupboard quietly and took out a gift pack that I bought for him. I bought a wrist watch for him, he was crazy for the wrist watches. When his alarm stopped I went slowly to him and shook him, "Tao!" I whispered as he quickly got up, "What?" he said, I stretched my hand with the gift, "Happy birthday!" I said smiling as he smiled in a shock and held the gift pack, "Thank you so much..." he said as he put it at the side and hugged me, I was shocked, "I'm so sorry! I never remembered yours but you remember mine! That's so sweet of you..." he said as he released me and grabbed the gift pack and started unpacking it carefully, "Omo~ I love watches!" he said as he hugged again. He released me, "Okay it's too late... let's sleep now!" he said as I got up and came on the bed. He switched off the light and laid down with his back at me...
