A Whole New Me. Was Love Included? (Complete)

Chapter 4.

         "Oh my gosh! Why didn’t you kiss him?!" Harmony asked me through the phone.

"Hey, I couldn’t kiss him on the first date! That's just desperate." I defended myself and I heard her laugh.

"I guess. Oh! Guess what." she said

"Hmm?" I asked, taking a bite out of the burger in front of me. 

"I met a guy. His name is Greg. He's super cute, and sweet but... He's the bad boy type. He goes to that school across the street."

"Lighthouse? The school for juvenile delinquents?" she sighed and we laughed a little "I'm proud." This time I heard Melodie laughing in the background.

"I really like him. We started talking on Friday and he gave me his number so we’ve been texting each other all weekend." she told me. I couldn’t help but smile.

"That is amazing. I can’t wait to meet him, I'll try and scare him" I joked and she laughed. I heard a door close in the background.

"Hey, we gotta go. Love you. We'll talk more on Monday." 

 "See you on Monday; tell me more about Greg then. Love you."

"Ok. Bye."

"Bye."

The date went well, obviously, because I'm lying in my bed still smiling. After we left his special place, went finally agreed to go to a pizza place called Gus'. We talked more and Oh My Wow, he is amazing. 

While we were there he got all embarrassed and he asked me in the most cutest, awkward way to be his girlfriend. So I am officially his girlfriend. 

I'm so excited to go to school Monday. I fell asleep that night thinking about Chris.

"Good morning! I'm home Shay! Want me to drive you to school?" I heard my dad’s voice call out

"Get the hell out of my room." I said tiredly "I don't need you to do anything for me." I was mad. He had been gone for a more than a week and now he’s back like nothing ever happened?

"Shay, I understand you may be mad at me but please let me take you to school. I want to talk to you."

"No thanks. I can do it myself. Why don’t you go worry about your little friend and leave me alone like I've been for the past week." I was in my closet by now and I glanced over at my dad, he looked like he didn’t care about what I was saying. 

"Fine, but I do want to talk to you. When you get home today."

"I'm not coming home."

"Shay." he said I could tell he was getting impatient.

"What?! I have to get ready for school now. Please get out of my room."

"Shaylene." he said his voice low. I slammed the bathroom door and blasted the radio. I heard him leave my bedroom. I got ready as fast as I could then left without another word to my dad.

I pulled into the school parking lot and I saw Harmony talking to some guy. He had short, black hair; he was wearing red and white sunglasses. From what I saw, he was definitely her type. Well, other than the bad kid school part. She looked over at me and smiled. I waved and started walking towards the gate.

"Hey! I'll meet up with you after first hour?!" she yelled

"Sounds good!" I yelled back, I was walking backwards and when I turned around Melodie and Ian were walking towards me with a painful expression on both of their faces. They were walking by Alicia who was gesturing wildly and blabbing. I laughed and kept walking.
