Chapter 17.

        On Friday we went on our date night. Chris thankfully had the night off. Overall it was an okay night. I mean, Adrian and Jordin were arguing most of the time so it got pretty awkward at times. 

Chris and I decided to go home early. Once we got back, I went and took a shower.

When I was done, I laid down and started thinking about everything that's been happening lately. 

Out of all of those applications I put in, I got three callbacks. One of them wanted me to start on Thursday with an amazing starting salary so I took it. 

I was broke out of my thoughts when I heard my door open.

"Hey babe. What are you doing?" Chris asked, walking in. I sat up.

"Nothing. Thinking about everything." I smiled he laid next to me and kissed my leg. He pulled me close to him.

"Are you okay?" he asked I nodded slightly

"Yepp. I'm fine why?" he shrugged

"Just asking." he squeezed me tighter "I go in at four in the morning so I'm going to sleep in here and wake up early okay?" he asked I nodded and laid down

"Okay. Get to bed then" I smiled kissed him lightly and closed my eyes "I love you."

"I love you too." he said against my lips. I smiled and he laid down.

I woke up and Chris was gone. I laid there for a while before I grabbed my phone. I had 4 missed calls from my grandmother, and a text message from Chris. I called my grandma back

"Hey nana what's up?" I asked

"Shaylene. Are you finally up?" she asked.

"Yes I am. Is something wrong?" I asked nervously. She laughed.

"No. I wanted you to meet me and Taylorat the mall." she said

"YES I WILL BE THERE!" I screamed

"Okay we;ll meet  you in the food court." she said I heard Taylor yell 'bring Morgan' I was so excited.

"Ok love you bye." I didnt give her time to respond I just hung up.

"Morgan!" I yelled she came running to my room.

"Yes?"

"Get ready we are going to the mall" she nodded and ran away

I quickly scrunched my hair, put on some black skinny jeans, a gray shirt, and gray flats. 

When I was ready I went downstairs and Morgan was standing there in a black skirt, a white blouse and a black leather jacket.

"You look cute." I said I grabbed the keys and started out the door

"Thank you. So do you." I smiled and got in the car "So why are we going to the mall right now?" she asked.

"Just sit back and relax." I said and she gave me a weary look.

When we pulled up to the mall I practically ran to the entrance. I calmed myself down and walked to the food court with Morgans elbow intertwined with mine

"Are you hungry?" I asked her

"Yes. I want McDonalds." I nodded and we headed there. I saw my grandmother and Taylor there but Morgan didnt see them. I walked up behind them and stood in line. I didnt say anything.

"Shay. That looks like Taylor." Morgan whispered I laughed

"Excuse me sir?" I said and he turned around. Morgan squealed and hugged him I just laughed and hugged my grandma.
