Chapter 11.

        

        I got up and washed my arm. There was blood drying around the cut. I pulled my sleeve down and put the scissors in the drawer by my bed. When I looked at the clock. It was 12:05. Chris should be here any minute. I freshened myself up and headed downstairs. I could feel the cut through my sleeve, my little secret.

I sat on the couch and waited until he got there. When I heard the door open I jumped up and all but ran to him.

"Hey babe." he said smiling. I just went up to him and hugged him burying my face into his chest. “What’s wrong?" he asked.

"My dad called." I told him. He nodded in an understanding way. Before he could reply, I put on a smile "I missed you." I said and pulled him down to my level for a kiss.

"I missed you more." he said against my lips our foreheads were touching. I felt him smile, I kissed him softly before I pulled away, grabbing his hand.

"Harmony will you please stop. We are on the way" Melodie was saying into the phone, we were on the way to pick Harmony and Greg up. We already had Ian and Mel with us. Melodie rolled her eyes and hung up. "She irritates me" she said and I laughed.

"Okay so what are we doing?" I asked anyone in the car.

"Dinner and a movie maybe?" Ian suggested. I looked at Chris, he was concentrating on the road, and I laughed because his face looked so serious.

"Sounds good to me." Mel said and then her phone rang again. I held out my hand.

"Let me talk to her.” she handed me the phone and crossed her arms. "Harmony. We are literally like 30 seconds away." I told her

"Okay, I think I see you guys." she said quickly.

"Bye." I hung up and gave Mel her phone back. We pulled up to Greg’s house and they got in. 

Like clock work, Harmony and Melodie started arguing.

"CANT WE ALL JUST GET ALONG?!" Greg yelled out and we all started laughing. I looked at Harmony who was smiling brightly at Greg. I could see the happiness in her eyes and it made me smile more.

We pulled up to the diner. 

"Sorry you guys can’t eat Denny’s anymore." I said. They all looked at me and I shrugged.

We went in and sat down. I glanced around the room, spotting Micheal. He wasn’t alone though. Interesting.

After we ordered I looked over to where Micheal was sitting. He was with Adrian. 

Hmmm where’s Jordin? 

I kicked Harmony under the table and nodded towards Adrian she looked and her eyes widened.

"Whoa" she mouthed. I pulled out my phone and texted Jordin.

Hey, what are you doing? ~Shay~

At home babysitting. Wbu?

I’m at dinner with everybody. Where’s Adrian? ~Shay~

He told me he had to go to his dad’s house. Why?

Don’t be mad, but he’s here with Micheal. Of all people. ~Shay~

She didn’t respond, but when I looked over at Adrian and he had his phone in his hand just staring at it. I bet she was calling. 

Micheal came back and there were two girls with him. Alicia and some chick named Stephanie or something along those lines. Harmony looked over at them and back at me.
