We headed for my closet, when lightning illuminated my room. I shrieked and latched onto Edwin.

"Whoa, easy there, it's just lightning." I blushed.

"Sorry, it's just I have a terrible fear of storms."

"It's ok you won't be able to see the storm from our floor."

"I don't know... I have a bad feeling about this storm, it looks strong, and every strong storm produces tornados."

Stupid storms.

"You're right let's head back downstairs." I nodded in agreement.

On the way downstairs the power went out. Luckily I had my phone to use as a flashlight.

"You guys ok?"  My brother shouted from somewhere.

"Yeah." I said still searching for my brother.

"Where are the other two?" I called out.

"Everyone is downstairs in the basement." Sirens started going off.

"We better head down there too."

How do you not notice someone sitting on you boy?

"Hey..."

"Mom, I told you I am fine!"

Gah I'm being ignored.

"Edwin..."

"Mom for the third time I'm fine!"

Here goes nothin.

I kissed him with passion and a hint of annoyance.

"Hang on mom I gotta go someone is waiting on me."

"Bout time you noticed me."

"Sorry I was talking to my mom."

"I understand but I've been sitting here for few minutes now."

"Really?"

HOW DO YOU NOT NOTICE SOMEONE SITTING ON YOU! Wait I was supposed to say that out loud.

"How do you not notice someone sitting on you?!"

"I honestly don't know, but what I do know is we're all alone now." Near the end his voice got deeper. He put his hands in my back pockets and pulled me closer. It was just then when the tornado sirens went off. We both groaned in frustration. I sighed,
