The next three days everyone was busy getting everything ready and set up making sure everything was perfect. I on the other hand was just down right nervous. I'm not the biggest fan of big crowds. I remember what my father told me to do if I was ever scared, nervous or angry. He told me to focus on something happy to get rid of the feeling. On the other hand he told me if it becomes out of control he told me to run to a place where I would feel powerful but calm. The problem I have now though if it does get out of control I can't get to that powerful safe place.
"Princess are you ready. Today is your big day." My servant said through the door.
"Yeah." I replied slipping into my heels.
The wedding is being held in the garden. I met my brother whom was my escort to the door. We arrived at the garden doors and the doors open and I started walking down the aisle. I focused on one person and one person only and that was my gorgeous soon to be husband. Once I reached the end I looked from the corner of my eye at my family. At the end of the row two very familiar faces stood out to me.
Are they? .... No it can't be them.
I mentally shook the thought out of my mind and carried on with the wedding. We exchanged our vows then after we did he carried me down the aisle. Everyone moved to the ball room where the reception was being held. A few minutes after it started the couple I was earlier came up to me. The man hugs me.
Why is this man touching me?
"I am so proud of you baby girl." The man said his voice seemed very familiar.
Dad?????
"Dad?" I questioned him.
"Yes sweetheart it's me." He let go of me and my I'm assuming stepmother hugged him. He dismissed her to talk to me.
"They told me you were dead." I started to tear up a little.
"I had them do that to protect you from going back home, but now you know something that you can't tell anyone and I'll be able to see you again."
"Will I ever be able to go home again?"
"Yes, once you learn how to control your powers and how to fight." Another man walked over.
"And you will become a legend." My father turns to the man.
"We don't know that for sure sense."
"A prophecy is a prophecy."
Whelp I'm confuseld.
I probably looked confused too because my father waved his hand as if it didn't matter.
"Anyway, it's nice to finally meet you Claire. Your father here tells me you have some anger issues. Is this true?"
"Well it used to be true, but then again nothing or no one has done anything to make me mad." Except the queen sometimes.
"I see. Well if someone or something does make you mad do you have any way to calm yourself? Or do you feel any kind of power building inside?"
"Well it's a yes to both, but to the second question I always got this sort of burning desire every now and then but just to like mess around with the power surging not harm anything or anyone."
"Well in that case try it out next time you have the desire. But what I will be teaching you can potentially put people in danger if you can't control your anger."
"He's right sweetie you need to learn to control your anger before you're taught anything" I open my mouth to protest but instead I changed the topic.
"Ok but can we talk about this another time? Today is kinda my big day." They both nodded then went to who knows where.
I found Edwin and slow danced with him in the middle of the crowed ballroom. Chatted with some old friends and exchanged numbers with them. Tried to catch up with my father to see where he's been but no luck. Then it was time for gifts and cake. I open my father's gift first. It was a necklace that looked like the one my mother used to wear all the time.
"It was your mother's favorite necklace." He helped me put it on then I gave him a hug.
"Thank you daddy." I whispered to him when I hugged him.
"You're welcome baby girl."
Sensei gave me a pendent and told me to bring it on my trip next month. The queen gave me another tiara of course, but hey I'm not complaining. Cutting the cake was fun after arguing what flavor to cut.
After everything was over, me and Edwin went up to my room and got ready for bed. I showered then headed to my closet for a tank top and shorts and tossed my wet towel into the pile of dirty clothes in the corner.
I should really get that pile down to the wash.
I spotted something glowing underneath the pile of clothes.
Man I hope nothing is growing under there.
I went over to it cautiously to check it out. It was a golden journal with a little flame shape on it. It kinda confused me. I mean I heard about this a long time ago, but it's supposed to have my birthmark on it showing my supposedly main power. Maybe my main power isn't what I've always thought it was. A knock on the door snapped me out of my thoughts. Knowing it was Edwin I quickly hid the journal and joined him outside my closet. Feeling tired we both went to bed and 'cuddled' the rest of the night.
