Carl POV

I walked into Judith's room, annoyed by all of the creaking in the floor boards. I walked over to her crib, and picked her up. I decided to take her to Carol because I'm going to go with my dad, following the run to make sure they stay safe.

I immediately ran down the stairs, rushing out of the house. I pushed the door open, revealing vehicles, and most of the group. I observed the crowd that was readying the trucks and RV. I saw that Carol was not there, so I realized that I had to go over to her house.

I walked away from everyone, and started my journey to Carol's house. Her house was all of the way across Alexandria since she owns the pantry house.

In the corner of my eye, I saw a girl. Enid. I saw that she was knocking on Denise's door. Right as I was about to yell her name, I saw Ron open the door. I saw Enid pull him into a hug immediately.

I felt anger pulse through my body. I was staring at Enid hug the guy that nearly killed me. I wanted to take my gun out and kill Ron. He tried to kill me and my dad. But I stopped myself. I understand how much Enid loves Ron. I would never do that to her.

Enid walked in Denise's house, leaving me with the feeling of crying. I jogged the rest of the way to Carol's house. My cheeks were hot. My chest was hurting. The fury was building up inside me. I lifted Judith above me, looking into her blue eyes. Yes, they were blue. But not like my dads blue eyes. They were just like my moms. My mom. I miss her. The anger turned to sadness by the slightest thought of my mother.

I saw Simone carrying a heavy box, and I ran over to her to help.

"Simone! Let me grab that." I said as I took it from her arms. It was full of guns. "We're taking this on the run?" I asked.

"Yeah. I was surprised too." I started to walk towards the truck to put the box in the back, only to be tugged on my the shoulder. "Wait. Carl. We should hang out." She suggested.

"Sure. I would like that." I nodded. I tossed the box into the trunk and closed it.

***

We had been driving for forty-five minutes until all three vehicles came to a stop. I unbuckled my seat belt, and jumped out of the tall truck. I ran over to Simone once again to stick by her. Apparently Ron saw her too, and he came over to us.

"Hey Simone." He glared at me. I glared back. "Carl." He said evilly.

"Ron." I replied.

My dad ran up to us to tell us who we were going with, and where.

"You three and...." He trailed off. "Tara!" He yelled. Tara ran over to us. "I want you four to go to that supermarket and clear it. Once it's clear, come let us know." He walked away.

"You sure you can do this?" I asked competitively.

"Of course I am. Are you?" Ron asked me.

"Surer than you are." I added. He nodded his head sarcastically, and ran ahead of the group.

"Ron!" Tara yelled. Ron looked back at me and stuck his tongue out. Ron ran into the windows that were in front of the market, attracting an uncountable amount of walkers.

"Ron!" I yelled. He was now on the ground, along with his jaw. He scooted back in shock, seemingly unable to get up. I ran up to him, as did Tara and Simone.

"You can't do that, Ron." We helped him up. Right after we all got off the ground, we heard pieces of glass crash down to the ground, and we felt millions of tiny pieces pelting on our backs.
