Before Beca and Kellin came over that night, my mum got home.
"Andi, darling, are you here!?"
"Yeah mum! Just getting ready for movie night with Beca and Kellin!" I hopped out of bed, my legs shuddered but I stayed up. I didn't want her to know that I missed school. I dressed in a long-sleeved shirt with my choker and my fingerless mesh gloves. I wore shorts over tights, my converse knee-highs and put my hair into two waterfall braids.

"Hiyah! We're here!" Beca called out "yeah, we're here! Are you ready Andi?"
"Yeah I am!" I called back down. When I saw Beca and Kellin I was a little surprised and kind of annoyed at how good they looked, even thought it's just a Thursday night. Beca wore her long, orange and black hair in 2 high pigtails that reach her elbows, she wore denim shorts and a band hoodie - T∅P - all tied together with black ankle boots and a belt chain. Kellin wore the T-shirt Beca bought him at a music festival we went to for my birthday last year and his skinny jeans that go with his Bali converse knockoffs. His hair was spiked and there was a spiral stretcher in his ear.

"Come on, let's go" I said, pushing through my friends.
"Are you OK?" Beca asked.
"I - I'm fine" I stuttered "I just want to have a fun night without any hassles, let's go."
We all piled into Beca's car and Kellin started the engine.
"Do you want to get take-out?" He asked, licking his lips, still watching the road.
"Yeah, sure. Wait, do you even have any money?" I asked.
"Yeah, I think so. Wait, no, wait, yes!" Beca cheered from the back seat "let's go to Hungry Jacks, no KFC, wait no let's get Chinese food!!" She kept piling on without noticing her boyfriend laughing in the seat next to me.

When we got to Beca's house we we're greeted by her bulldogs, Duchess and Angus, Beca loves her pets. She has two bulldogs, a tabby cat called Slinky Malinky, 3 rabbits; Tom, Dick and Harry, 2 parakeets called Batman and Robin and a lazy pot bellied pig called percy. We walked through the house to her bedroom - the last one on the right - and went through a door in her room. This was one of the exits to the backyard. We speed walked hastily across the icy lawn to the den - our den. This had been our sanctuary for years. Beca's family had owned this house since I can remember.
