Pre authors note:
I feel that this chapter is just a part two to the previous short chapter.Pictured- Imogen Moreno (degrassi the next generation) was a big inspiration for the character Imogen in my story.
I ran down the deserted stairwell towards room 19 for English, snuck inside and sat next to Beca and Kellin. It was pretty easy for me to go almost unnoticed because my teacher wasn't there yet.
"Where have you been?" Beca whispered.
"I, uh, fell over the crack in the ground down the hall" I replied, pulling the pen out of my bun, letting it flow back into a long braid.
"OK, everyone. We have a new student in our class, all the way from Brighton" as soon as I heard that, my eyes darted up to see Imogen waving at me. Her mouth opening into a big goofy smile, revealing two rows of perfectly straight, gleaming teeth that seemed whiter against her tan face.
"Who's that?" Kellin whispered, leaning back in his seat in front of Beca. I stayed silent as the teacher directed the new girl to her seat next to me. As she passed me she winked and placed her books down on the small plastic desk.On my way home after school, my phone started ringing. I took it out of my pocket and saw the crazy picture of my best friend when we were 10 and got into my mums makeup.
"Where are you?- wait, no, I see you- look up" I looked up the hill behind me to see a blur of black and orange flowing behind Beca as she bounded towards me.
She swung her arms up to hug me and I raised mine, completely forgetting about last night. My hoodie sleeve moved, slightly revealing my wrist. Not enough for a normal person to notice but clearly enough for Beca and Kellin to see. I could feel the pity growing in their gaze and left.Authors note:
Okay, I know. It is another VERY short chapter and a VERY boring filler but I want the coffee date to be in the next chapter. Wait, did I say date? *hint hint*
Anyways, so long for now. Please vote, comment and recommend this story XP
QOTD: Do you see Beca as, emo, sunshiney, Hipster or otherwise? If so, comment what stereotype you think she is, in your mind. XD
