"Alright Runa, we've got a mission to attend to." Farkas said. Last night's date changed everything between Farkas and I.
"What is it?"
"We've got to go into an ancient Nordic ruin and go find a piece of wuuthrad."
My eyes opened with surprise. "You mean, they found another piece?"
"Yep, and it seems to be in Dustman's Cairn."
"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!"
Farkas packed us two days worth of food. Then we headed north, towards Dustman's Cairn. On the way, we encountered two giants and about 7 wolves. They were no challenge thanks to my bow.
"Runa, how can you fight with that thing so well?"
I smiled,"Because I've had a lot of practice with it before."
He smiled back and we continued on. In a couple of hours we had reached our destination. However, it was starting to get dark so we started to set up camp. Tonight's dinner: A piece of bread with some snowberries and a cup of honey brewed mead.
After I finished my meal, I set up my bedroll and went to sleep with Farkas holding me in his arms.
