I've been tossing and turning for an hour and half now and it's already 1 am. I have to get up in 6 hours to finish packing. What am I gonna do?
People all over the country think that I'm dating this guy I only met yesterday, now I'm supposed to go on tour with him and his other friends? I mean, don't get me wrong, he is one of the most attractive guys ever seen in my life, but I don't like to be pushed into something.
I interrupt my own thoughts by sighing and leaning over to my night stand to turn on my lamp. I squint at the blinding intensity of the light but roll out of bed once I adjust. I tip toe out of my room and putting my door against, being careful not to wake up my mom who's room is near mine. I get down the stairs and enter the kitchen, heading right to the fridge. Maybe a small snack or something would help me go back to sleep.
I grab a yogurt and walk to the dark living room, plopping down ona hard lump on the couch and then screaming as I hear a deep voice yell at me.
"Hey!! What the hell!?"
I quickly scramble for my phone and turn on the flashlight, shaking.
"Selena?!" The voice shouts as I blind him in the eyes. It was Cameron.
"What the f*ck are you still doing here?!" I flip out on him, holding my hand to my chest trying to calm down from my, almost, heart attack.
"Your mom said I could crash here since we are going to the airport together tomorrow anyway." He sits back down on the couch and that's when I notice he was shirtless and only in boxers.
I try keeping my eye contact to his face but I couldn't help but look down and scan his muscular body. He had a perfect six pack, almost eight, and perfect biceps and pecs and everything. Did this boy have any damn flaws?!
"Enjoying the view?" He laughs and snaps me out of my almost-drooling phase.
"Uh. No. I was j-just... Um... Never mind." I awkwardly try bolting for the stairs with my head down.
"Stop" he stops me as I take only one step up the stairs. I was almost frozen because of the way he commanded me in such a tense voice. "Come here."
I did what he said and came right behind the couch where he was sitting. He looked up at me with a smirk.
"You don't have to do everything I tell you." He chuckled adorably.
"Sorry." I laugh awkwardly once more.
He shakes his head with a grin at my continuous obedience. I didn't even know why I was acting this way. Just something about him makes me want to always please him.
"You came down from your room for some reason. So stay, don't let me be the reason you can't do something. It's your house, not mine."
"No it's fine. I'll just watch tv in my room."
"No stay. I need the company anyways. I can't go back to sleep once I've been woken up. Some sleep disorder thing I have." He shrugs and hands me the tv remote.
I contemplate whether I should listen to his suggestion or not before just giving in and sitting on the opposite side of the couch from him, curling my legs into my chest.
I turn on the tv and feel like I'm frozen in fear. Something about him just made me nervous and gave me butterflies in my stomach. I didn't know if this was a good or bad thing but I know that when I feel this way about anyone, that means something is up about that person. Only time will tell what that is.
"What do you wanna watch?" I almost stutter but take a deep breath to calm my nerves.
"Anything you want. I'll probably be on my phone most of the time anyway." He chuckled.
