Chapter 1: Flashback

I look up into the mirror and remember that horrible day 10 years ago on September 11th: I was running. I quickly looked over my shoulder in fear and saw the two tall buildings come crashing down, what used to be the World Trade Center in New York City, I want  to stop and help the people, but  I must keep running to stop the other attacks that I know are coming. I use my super speed shoes given to me by the FBI to race to the airport. I look at my watch and boarded the flight number I could clearly see in my mind just in time. I waited a few hours until the people sitting in front of me stood up and ran to where the pilots were. I got up and quickly followed. By now, I could see that the men were fighting with the pilots.  I saw the White House from the window and quickly derailed the plane and safely crashed the plane into a Pennsylvania field. I grabbed my handcuffs from my belt and handcuffed the men who were so obviously terrorists. I then snapped back into present time. 'Ugh! Why do I always have that flashback on September 11th?' Hi, my name is Abberleigh Jhonson,  but everyone calls me Abbi. I will tell you a little bit about myself, I am a 19 year old psycic, but I so don't do mysteries. Leave THAT to the Nancy Drew wannabes! I run downstairs and turn on the news while I eat breakfast. The 9/11 Rememberance Day Ceremony is already on.  I look at my watch and realize that I won't make the bus, so I call my friend, Cammie to come pick me up.  'She didn't answer AGAIN!' I slam the phone down and a few minutes latter, get a phone call, I pick it up, hoping  that  it is Cammie. Caller id says different. I stare at my phone seeing the words 'resrticted number' in black and blue. I hesitantly answered the strange phone call. "Hello? Who is this?" A syntetic voice I know I have heard before answered my question soon enough. "Hello, Abberleigh. I bet you are wondering now where your litte friend Cammie is, huh?  If you want to see her again alive and healthy, then I sugest you follow the email we sent to you. I understand you have a 'special gift' am I correct?" I nervously replied, "Y-yes." and all the strange voice said was "Good, then I guess you won't have any troubles knowing what to do then. Do as I say and your friend will be fine." And the person hung up. I decided going to school to tell my prinipal why I will be out for a while. I hop on my bike and race to school. I asked the secretary if she knows if Cammie was in attendednce for the day." "No, I'm afraid not, Abberleigh." I just sighed and did as the phone call told,  I checked my email through my phone and as carefully as I could, clicked 'open' under my new message.
